Good morning ladies...

Today is going to be the timesaver cardio premix from BM2...and weights and plates abs. I am going to attempt to do all the plates part. But, I usually skip the last couple or do another round of one of the first few...Those are tough! I am feeling DOMS from yesterday. Right now I feel them mostly in the chest. I have a feeling that I will have the others kicking in later...Hope I can lift my arms for the cardio today. HAHA

Also, I was reading the blog about the Hiit filming that has started. Those workouts sound awesome. It reminds me of the plyo legs disc without the weight part of course. I enjoy the plyo legs workouts...

Ok, time to start school lessons...Be back later..

Good Morning Everyone!

The sun is shining brightly on the yellow, orange and red leaves, it looks awesome out, and I'm planning a run at the park!

First, i'm going to do an ab workout at home. Let it warm up just a tinge outside. I might even go to the Bon Ton first...

Kathy: I bet having a week of recovery and then heading into MESO 2 is a REAL shocker for the body! I kind of forget what Meso 2 was like. How is it different from 1 so far? Have a fun cardio today!!!

Hottie: OMG, I was so excited to see you posting last night! I miss you! That's too funny you took out the workout card for DISC 16 instead of 13. Oopsie! I bet yOU have some good DOMS today. How are you and Joe liking STS so far? ... I gotcha on the stress eating. That's my usual weekends. I hate it, but sometimes it's all you have. It's NOT an option to "go take a brisk walk" when you're stressed and you have obligations. But it always feels good to get back to eating cleaner (I feel so much better!).

Beth: I also love the names of your kitty cats! Monster is a great name! And Shadow , for this time of year, is great too. And you're getting another dog? And all those roosters? What a fun place to live, I envy you !!! I had wicked dog envy this weekend, seeing all the dogs in the yards while their owners did yardwork. I'm bummed we can't have one (Alex has allergies). ... I saw the HiiT blog and pictures! VERY cool. Yes, it does remind me of Plyo Legs, Kathy!... Love it!!!

Better go start my ab work. For some reason I have motiation and energy to burn right now

Good morning! Kathy, good luck with those plates!!! Chris, it sounds absolutely beautiful there! Our leaves have begun to turn, but I know it's nothing like what you've got. Our hills are turning green though, and that's always nice! :)

Ok, so Dylan's decided he doesn't like Monster. The name, I mean. And, Shadow is Shadows, plural. That's the latest.... stay tuned for more updates...... :D The rooster situation is crazy.... it's because we hatched out eggs. When you buy chicks, they already sex them and mostly you just get hens. Once in a while they make a mistake. They did for us once and that rooster was named "Extra". He was really pretty.

Hottie, Evee has to have knee surgery?! That sounds vaguely familiar, but I think I forgot. Poor Evee -- poor you!

I ended up doing Ilaria's powerstrike 5 this morning. I like all the form pointers she gives, and that she goes at a speed (mostly) that allows better form. She reminds me of the barre instructor of kickboxing, since barre relies so much on form. I know, that sounds crazy. I've been afraid to do kickboxing, actually, because of my shoulder -- that's why I ended up doing such a mish-mosh of kickmax last week. I think it'll be ok.

Our internet is really slow this morning and it's getting late.... better run.....

Morning -- back on on a public computer so its limited. I went to bed way too late and could barely get up to do a workout before work. So, I'm going to head out to the gym in a little bit to do an elliptical run...hopefully a long one though! Stupid monopoly game at McDonalds. Joe used to like doing it as a kid and I haven't been stopping him so french fries and mcflurries and nuggets in the evening. It's amazing how crappy food tastes better when you're down too. But now cardio! I did do triceps last night -- I bust a gut when Cathe "finished" before the others did in the workout for the one tricep exercise.

Kathy -- I had done that Timesaver Cardio on Sunday -- I really like it though I'd be so out of exercise that it was way tougher than it should have been on 6 inches. So, a much easier elliptical run for me today! Hope you enjoyed it!

Chris -- Thanks for missing me! We both *like* STS a lot but I have this fear that I'm always going to have this fluff on me. I know I shouldn't be too upset with the last year between all the huge things that happened but I really want to rededicate myself. Lab work is so unpredictable that I think I need to have something that I know *should* work with effort. I think I need to put cardio on some of the STS days in to offset the calories!

Beth -- you know, I'm actually not dead sure if Evee NEEDS the knee surgery or if it can be dealt without surgery but I'm assuming if it helps, we're doing it. Her right knee cap gets dislocated. I think its Grade 1, the lightest. It does explain to me some of her movements that bothered me so at least the mystery is solved. Frankly, I'm just cringing at the dealing with an orthopedic vet because I know just the consultation and xrays will cost me a bit. And getting pet insurance ahead of time is out the door because its been written down in a vet diagnosis so great. Maybe Dylan may like the name "Mon?" you know, like pokemon, digimon? I'm so jealous you get real eggs from real chickens. I could eggs every day.

Speaking of which (not really though) -- one good health news -- I have crazy good cholesterol numbers. Well, I don't know if its crazy but the doctor made it sound good and she apparently thought I'd be doing a whole lot worse (I guess with my chunk). My HDL was 82, my LDL was 78, and my triglycerides was 74. I suppose I shouldn't be too giddy, I'm still under 30 but hey, I must be doing something right for my health! Ok, </random tangent>

Man, I'm so digging these new shoes I got. So cute and comfortable! I wrote about them here if you guys are interested. I'm almost done with computer work and I'm going to try them out at the gym next!

Hey Girls!!!

I had THE best run today, it was just gorgeous at the park, and it's gotten even nicer out! I get such a MAJOR high off of a good run, it scares me sometimes!

I also did Pilates Based Abs from Ab Circuits. Did everything, except those darn side plank thingies. I can't hold that pose because it's too much pressure on my shoulder. Why is that?

Beth: LOL @ the change in kitty names! Kids are funny. I do think my boys named and renamed Kiwi a million times (He came with the name Kiwi.). His original name was Nicolas, so they called him that for a while. And then they wanted to call him Cosmo. They still try to rename him sometimes! That Powerstrike sounds cool. Debbie (Fitness Freak) talks about doing it and loving it too, on that other check-in. .... The trees here just blow you away with the colors. It's truly amazing what nature does.

Hottie
: Yay for getting triceps in!!! Good for you! , I do miss you, and your witty take on life  I'm glad you're able to pop in lately. I'm sorry about Evee needing knee surgery. that stinks! What are her symptoms? Does she act like she's in pain? ... I know, I sometimes think I should add in extra cardio to compensate for my off eating too. And yes, I have that "fluff" as well. When I first lost weight, I was down to a size 4 and had very little "fluff". Now I'm a 6-8 and I see and feel "fluffy". Some days I just live with it, and don't get down about it. Other days I fight it. I don't know why it means so much to me to get rid of it. Because mostly, I'm pretty darn healthy and have a good healthy heart and body. ... Those cholesterol levels are AWESOME! I didn't know they went that low!!!

Okay, going to go figure out what's for supper, because Alex wants to go to Walmart this afternoon to buy his friend a bday gift for Saturday.

Boo! Chris, you must have had an awesome run today! I'm envious. (saw your other thread about it). Maybe I will get a nice run in this weekend.

I can't do side planks either -- even before I had shoulder problems!!! I do wonder if I'll ever do anything like that again -- even come close. Like pushups and planks. Did I tell you I'm getting my "exercise training" -- whatever that is -- tomorrow? Supposedly then I will know how I can tell how much I can do when. We'll see!!
