Hi ladies..

Today I finish Meso 1 with Disc 12 Legs....Now, that I am almost done with the first part, I feel like I have gained a little strength from the first time. I love what Cathe's workouts over the years have done to my muscle developement...

Ok, today Chris has a baseball game and since we ended up not getting the library in yesterday. We are going there today..

Now, time for breakfast and starting our day. The dog is whinning to go out..

Be back later..

Hi Kathy, and all -- happy Friday! I woke up a little before 4am this morning and it took me quite a while to figure out what day it is!

Kathy, the muscle factor is so great, isn't it? Nice! Enjoy your trip to the library.....

I worked my upper body today -- did my shoulder shape up yoga, that is. It really is a workout though -- I'm always amazed. Since I was up so early, I also tacked on KCM's athletic step. Nice sweat. Today's sort of a rest day, but since I had an easier day one day this week and we have early soccer games tomorrow, I thought I'd flip things around a bit. Didn't really feel the need for a rest today.

I'm having breakfast now -- before my shower -- wondering if that'll help me out any. Yogurt, fruit, and nuts. I've been crazy with eating this week -- do not know why, but it's got to stop!

Crazy day today..... I'm staying at school for the assembly because Dylan's getting an award, and then I wait around a bit and help out with 5th grade math , then I count laps for noon-time jogging, and then finally I will head into work for a little while. Since the boys have soccer practice, I figure it's probably worth it.

Hope everyone has a nice day!

Just a quick post, today got even more busy, going to meet w/ Zach's VP for 1pm re: DC Trip.

I'm in a funk because of this , this week. I'm feeling horribly emotionally.

Anyways, I cranked out STS DISC 5, which was week 2 of Back & Triceps.

I'm off to the grocery store. will try to catch up later....

Hi ladies!

Chris, I hope the meeting goes well with the VP. They better let you go!!

Beth, we did the same workout today. :) I did the KCM's new step, too. I also did the 2nd workout on Muscle Definition. I am starving today - don't know what's going on with me, either. What's Dylan's award for? Sounds like a very busy day at school!

Kathy, I sometimes wonder what I'd be like today health-wise and physically if not for Cathe. Enjoy the library...

Kids are off today and Monday. Nice long weekend for them. I'm off Monday - hopefully we can do something fun.

They decided to admit my dad for his kidney stone blasting, which is good. We don't know when yet. He has to meet with the dr. on the 21st and they'll set it up then.

Like I said - I'm starving - off to get lunch...

Hey! Chris.... how did the meeting go? Sending you big hugs -- sorry for your emotional turmoil!

Joanne, the school mascot is the Cougar. Every week there is a word of the week -- some sort of behavior they'd like to encourage, and at the Friday assembly one or two kids in each class is given a "Cougar Award" (yes, we have big laughs at that) for the behavior. This week was Positive Attitude -- I laughed so hard when I realized Dylan was getting it for that because he is Big-Time Mr. No and negative. Everything starts with no and then we work from there. Sometimes I think they give the cougar awards to the kid who most needs to get that attitude! :)

Helping fifth graders with math for nearly two hours about killed me. I'm amazed those kids have learned anything.... at least half of them are not focused at any given moment. Then I had to go help with noon-time jogging and I realized about five minutes before it started that I was the only one helping and I had no idea what to do! That was rather hectic, and I'm sure I gave at least a couple of kids credit for laps they didn't really run. Oh well!

Then..... my car wouldn't start!!! Oh brother! I think the key battery is dead, but what a pain. Stupid car. Fortunately Larry was heading home from work early (coincidentally) at that time, so rather than run errands, I had him pick me up and we're both here at home.

Did we all see they are filming shock cardio next week?! Whooo-hoooo!!!!!

Beth, that's funny about the award - but, good for Dylan! It seems kids tend to act the opposite at home than they do in public! At least mine do. ;) People will always tell me "oh, Caitlyn is so quiet." NOT! The girl never stops talking at home. I mean, never! Her 1st grade teacher did say during her progress report that the only negative she could say about her is she talks a bit too much. So, at least I know she's feeling comfortable at school. I admire you for helping 5th graders with math! I'd need a refresher course first. We had a horrible math homework experience the other night with Colin. They teach them a different way of doing it. At least they used to. He was doing multiplication of numbers with decimals. I'm trying to remember how they taught them to do it before. I had Jameson help him. I couldn't figure out why he was all confused. Well, it turns out they are back to teaching them the way we learned it! If only I had known that to start with, it would have been much less stressful for all involved. Once I went over it with him that way, he got it (after several meltdowns about it earlier).

Yea!! I saw the Shock Cardio filming date. She's filming with Greg Twombly, who does the CIA videos and I think KCM's, too. His turnaround is really quick, so maybe we'll have them before the holidays.

Finishing up a project and time to go home for the long weekend! Football tomorrow. I'm hoping this rain clears up or it will be miserable. I know it's supposed to be cold, but if it's at least dry I can handle it.

Have a good weekend all if I don't get back here...

Joanne

Hey Guys...

Sorry I was MIA this afternoon. Just got busy, and was in my funk a bit.

The meeting with the VP actually went VERY well. We both discussed it, and the solution being, I'm going on the trip! In what capacity and how much it will cost me, is still up in the air. Funny thing was, the VP talked to Zach in the morning about it, and Zach's solutions were in this order, prioritizing which one he wanted most.

1. ME going!!!
2. Somehow learning to use a different site that he could reach better.
3. Changing over to all needles, and get rid of the pump, just for the trip. (meaning he'd have to give himself a shot every time he ate soemthing).

AND when he got home and I asked him if he would mind if I chaperoned his group (if I went in this capacity, I wouldnt have to pay), he said, "SURE, no problem". What??

And then Zach gets a call from the newspaper, saying a paper route opened up. And so I took him down there, and he (*I*) got the job! I seriously feel it's going to be my job for a while, until he gets used to it. there's a lot of little things you have to do to deliver papers. The lady was SO strict about it all.

Kathy: WOO HOO on finishing MESO 1, again!! I know, I've been feeling my arms "harden" up since starting. The weight work really makes me feel strong and firm.

Beth:
OMG, you are an energizer bunny there! Good workout today! And crazy busy today too. Congrats to Dylan on a very cool award!!!! (cougar..LOL!).

Joanne: funny you and Beth did the same workout, huh? Nice that you all have a long weekend too. Enjoy football!!
