Hi Everyone!

I hope today doesn't turn out as crazy as yesterday .

40 min kettlebell workout this morning.


I have my youngest home from school as she feels sick; apparently Mother Nature decided to gift my 10yr for the 1st time last night and I feel so sad about it I just want to cry :( I was the same age exactly when I got my 1st giftie but still thats my baby girl and well I'm feeling a bit wahhh over it.


Okay well I still need to get going as I have to take my DS to school; today is early dismissal but he is going even if his sisters are sleeping in :rolleyes:

Good Morning Vilma and all to follow this morning....

Oh Vilma, 10 years old? that seems so young for "that". When I hear things like this, I'm so grateful for my 3 boys!! to you, Vilma!! Hope you enjoy your KB workout this morning... And that your day is more laid back.

I'm planning on doing PUB/PLB Total Body Premix! I've had this workout for so long and have never done the combination. So I'm looking forward to it. I may either do an extra stretch later, or some extra cardio, depends what I'm in the mood for...

 
Hi Everyone! Oh Vilma, what a milestone! It does seem so young.

Chris, did you see the rotation I finally posted yesterday -- was it the one you were thinking of? If only we had 90 minutes to work out, eh? :)

I did cc #2 on the bike this morning. I swear I do not know how people who don't have their workouts planned out do it. I have just been winging it based on my upper body, and my shoulder where I got the shot is still really sore, so at last minute this morning I decided on the cc. I do much better when I know ahead of time what it is I'm going to do!!

I'm doing cleanmax after I help at the school. Have a great day everyone!

Done with Lauren Brooks kettlebell workout and this time I didn't put on gloves and my hands feel primo!

DH is home now so I doubt I'll be posting much lol He wants to go out and do some errands.

My youngest has been sleeping all morning- I should've seen it coming as last week she was acting so sluggish. So now I plan to get her her own 'stuff' and go through the teachings once again. Luckily I had been prepping her since earlier and she was using liners.

Chris so how did you like that premix? Thats the one I do when I just want to combine those 2 workouts for a total body routine.

Beth so sorry to hear your shoulder still is bothersome. I love my CCs :p

Hi all. Another no workout day for me as my workout space was occupied! :( I'm glad I did the treadmill run yesterday. I was going to do another today, but feeling kind of blah.

Vilma, wow, that is a milestone. Sounds like you did a great job of preparing her. It really does seem like it's coming for girls at a much younger age.

Beth, that rotation looks killer. It might be fun to do it substituting some of Cathe's newer workouts.

Chris, I think I've done that PUB/PLB combo before - can't remember if I like it or not though!

Vilma (again!), which DVD did you use to learn the right way to use the kettlebells? Would the Lauren Brooks DVD be good to start with? Does it should you the right form and all that? I'm thinking about trying it - getting bored with my same old stuff! And I keep reading how it leans out your legs - just what I need.

LAST night I did LIS abs only LIC lower body premix plus Blast challenge from Step Blast! One more day then I have 3 days off in a row! Off to get ready for work

Hey Everyone...

I did like the PUB/PLB Premix Combo! I liked that it had no FLOORWORK ... heehehehehe, but I wasn't so thrilled it threw in 2 sets of the Leg Presses (kind of hurt my calf round 2 and had to stop on the last set). But it was a goodie! I added on the Abs too! I seem to always be swearing and muttering at Cathe on the Pikes & Pull-ins at the end, when she has you do 4 MORE PIKES! Get the heck OUT! No WAY!!!. But I really did like it in the fact that it goes back & forth between UB and LB.

Beth: I did see the rotation. that looks like a KILLER! WOW! I was thinking more along the lines of the one where you add on a 'bonus' cardio. In fact, I searched yesterday and ended up finding it.

(One minute jumping jacks
One minute continuously up and down a flight of steps
One minute Jump Rope
One minute Walking Lunges
One minute running in place
REPEAT THIS 5 minute CYCLE THREE TIMES
)

Yep, last minute workouts drive me crazy too!! that's how I was the few weeks when my toe was hurting bad!! How is your elbow feeling? Is it just your shoulder now? And how is Miss Gina today? Did she sleep with someone last night? My boys were FLOORED when the kitties started sleeping with them.

Vilma: on the KB workout and not hurting! Enjoy the day with hubby. My day with hubby is Friday (his night off changes every week).

Joanne: Sorry you're missing your workout again today! You'll get back at it, once everyone starts sleeping in the right places!

Randi: Good to see you! Sorry work has been crazy... I bet you can just taste those 3 days off in a row!!... NICE (hard!!!) workout yesterday!


Going to go get some nice autumn sunshine now! the leafs are SOOOOO bright and beautiful, I was so into it on my drive to and from Walmart and the Farm Stand today!!!
 
Chris, that add-on looks much saner and more doable -- well, one time through anyway!! :) I may try it, though I have no steps, so it may be a 4 minute add-on for me. :)

My elbow is feeling better, though when walking Gina a while ago, she tugged and it hurt again, so.... maybe another day off. The shoulder is hurting from the darn tetnus shot -- I cannot believe how sore it is!

Gina is doing great. She is sleeping in our bed, unfortunately! As if I didn't have enough sleep issues! That's apparently what Larry had in mind. As if our sex life wasn't difficult enough! :)

I'm really dreading the cleaning, but I'd better get to it -- haven't gotten very far and running out of time......

Beth, our dog (Tully) rotates who she sleeps with! She was sleeping in Caitlyn's bed for awhile, but would usually wind up with me by the end of the night. Now she's usually with me. I really don't mind since DH isn't there most of the time anyway since he works nights. She's pretty funny. She's knows when it's bedtime and will start barking at me when it's my usual time to go to bed cause she's ready. Last night was funny. She decided to give Ian's bed a try. Well, his light was off and he climbed in bed before he saw her. Scared the beejesus out of him and Tully when he stumbled across this big warm thing unexpectedly in his bed. He screamed and the dog yelped and jumped off the bed.

Chris, glad you enjoyed the premix. Does it just the the up cycle for each part? Is your toe pretty much 100% by now?

Hi Randi! Another great combo!

I'm determined to get in a workout tomorrow if I have to kick someone off the couch! DH has been taking time off to take care of some stuff around the house and it's just throwing off my whole schedule!

So I did the "Add On" Cardio this afternoon. 2 rounds of it! Kind of cool! Next time I'll wear my iPod (it had to be charged today). So 10 minutes and I burned 86 extra calories! not too shabby! Beth, you could always do 2 of the jumping jacks or jump rope instead of the stairs...

Beth..OMG, you took a tetanus shot in your ARM?!?!? :eek: Are you crazy, girl??? As embarASSing as it is, I take it in my butt. It hurts like HELL but not as bad as an arm would. Oh geesh, figures the dog would pick your bed! Maybe she will "rotate' around like Joanne's doggie?



Joanne: Yes, the PUB/PLB Premix is up only on all the exercises. As I said, no leg floor work, but double Leg Presses. My toe isn't 100% , but it only hurts a little , I can take a "little".
 
I wasn't given any option about where to get the shot! Who knew?! :)

I'll do an add-on. I need it. What's up with my eating lately? Ug!

Hi everyone..

Looks like everyone did very well on their workouts today..I did 4DS High Intensity Step: chest & back. I am really enjoying doing the 4DS series. I like the cardio and weights on the same day!!!

Have a great night everyone..I have a load of laundry to fold and ironing to tackle!!
