Good Tuesday Morning Ladies!

CCV4 on tap for me as soon as I come back from dropping the kiddos off at school.

I was planning on a 4am wake up but stood up a bit too late rereading one of my favorite books in a certain vamp series lmao:p

Beth Gina is so sweet looking .

Chris
- the kids here had school yesterday but no pumpkin farms around as far as I know and Fall is hiding as we have 85 degree weather today

Did go out to get the girls their Halloween costumes though :)

Well that was from yesterday's personals

I'll try to BBL to see who pops in.

Good Morning!

Hi Vilma!: CC sounds like a good one today, Enjoy! We're having a bit of an Indian Summer here, it's been in the 70's and just gorgeous during the day, cool nights. What did your girls decide to be for Halloween? Mine are going to be Jack Sparrow (my 7yr old), Scary Zombie (9 yr old), and my oldest is going to be an evil skateboarder :

Scary!! What happened to the cute costume days??

So my workout today I THINK, is going to be LowMax. Though my calf was talking to me yesterday, so that's why I'm not sure. I was also thinking of attempting a run later too. I wore sneakers yesterday, and they felt ok finally! but then again, I don't want to screw up my toe before the JDRF walk on Sunday...

Here are some pictures from yesterday on our Pumpkin Adventure:

I'm back!!!

I started doing LowMax, but had to change up not even 1/2 through the warm-up. Okay, my calf hurts. So I did a great sweaty Turbo Jam: Cardio Party 3. I'm also thinking there was a rotation that Cathe had that had an extra cardio in it. I think she had you tagging it on at the end of your workout, or another part of the day. Anyone know what I'm talking about or which one it was? I think I want to get some extra cardio in this week, because the scale is NOT pretty after the long crap-eating weekend I had!!! !!!!

Going to get some grocery shopping done first. (I could kill my husband who used the last pieces of bread yesterday, and did NOT think of stopping this AM for more! Men, UGH!)

BBL!!

Good morning! I did kick max low impact premix this morning. My foot hurts. I guess I've been doing too much stepping, or something. Not much of a workout! It got to the end and it seemed like one long warm-up to me..... where was the workout?! :) They gave me a tetnus shot yesterday and my shoulder is really sore! The hook really hurt. :) I'm in sad shape......

Chris, I love the pictures -- the pumpkin patch looks great and I would really love to miss the crowds (I was kidding, but maybe you knew that and were kidding back) but I'm afraid it probably won't happen, unfortunately. I know what you mean about no more cute costumes -- it's that way at my house, too. One will be a winged reaper and one a headless man. Thanks to his dr., he now wants a head to carry along with it.

PG&E flipped our power quickly yesterday, and we lost a mac monitor -- I'm so mad! I guess I have to see if they'll give me some money for it -- what a pain. And, my vacuum is broken! The sad thing is the cleaning people told me about it when they were here two weeks ago, and now it's time for them to come again and nothing's been done about it. We have a spare, but I really need to get the nice one fixed.....

Ok, off to face the day........ if you guys asked me other questions yesterday, I've forgotten! Vilma, did you get your car back yet????

-Beth

Hi ladies!

Beth, Gina is a sweetie!! How old is she? How is she adjusting to her new home? I just love doggies!

Chris, beautiful pictures! Looks like you had a great day. I hate crowds, too. So far, we have only three Halloween costumes decided. Colin wants to be Mr. Rogers. Yes, Mr. Rogers. Not sure how he came up with that, but it'll be easy to put together. Caitlyn wants to be Tinkerbell. Ian wants to be an old lady. Jameson is not sure yet. Quite a collection of characters, huh? :)

Vilma, enjoy your ccv4!

No workout this morning. DH was in first choice of workout space (asleep on our basement couch) and Caitlyn was in our bedroom, my second option. Kind of frustrating, but, oh well. I wanted to do an upper body something and some cardio. I'm trying to psych myself up for doing an intread or cc at our work gym in a few minutes. I haven't run in so long.

BBL...

Joanne

We don't know exactly how old Gina is.... somewhere between 6 and 9 months, they guess. I guess that means she's still growing, but I wish she'd stop.... she's just about the size I want right now. :)

Mr. Rogers is hilarious! So funny a kid would want to be him -- and yes, that's quite a collection of characters. Love it.

Joanne, I know how you feel about psyching yourself up. I was going to get on the elliptical this morning and I just couldn't do it. Hope you got some workout solution figured out!

Good afternoon ladies..

Just popping in for a moment..I have to go pick up Lauren from her drawing lessons. Then Chris has a baseball game tonight!!

Checking in today with 4DS: kickbox and legs...

Chris: Love the photos. We haven't done a pumpking patch yet this year..That is a scary costume. Chris is going to be a baseball player. (that is his love!!) Lauren said she might just help me hand out candy and not go around. We will see about that..Your kids are so cute!!

Beth: Gina is such a cutie...Hope you get some $$$$ for that computer...

Joanne: How is Caitlyn doing? Glad to read from past days that things are better? Right?Hope you get your workout space back soon!!

Hi Vilma: Hope you workout was a great one!!

Talk to you later everyone

Just a quick fly by post as I need to leaving here yet again.

I swear I need one of those Calgon baths- remeber those commercials?

Anyhoo....

I finished CCv4 early this morning by 923am I was done! yay
What a great run.

Chris - love those photos and the costumes are scary, My girls are gonna be vampires like ermmm their momma lol We have fangs that we ordered from this online store called vampfangs and you costumize the fit of each fang to your tooth. My oldest DD has been wearing her set for over a month everyday - yeah we're a bit strange lol MY ds goes as a dead gamer with his xbox headset on and stuff . DH never goes out with us- guess I'm a big kid I love Halloween its my fav holiday.

Joanne- Glad to see you posting seems something my dh would do park himself and sleep on the coach when I want tp workout. Mr Roger? Awwww I loved that man grew up with him on tv.

Beth
- nope no Sally yet and I'm so frustrated but eh what can you do but sit and wait

Kathy
- hiya!

Well I need to go pick up my son from his meet.

Toodles!

Kathy, Caitlyn is doing great!! I can't tell you how glad it is to see her back to acting like herself. She even had a friend over this weekend. She does tire easily, but that's to be expected for awhile. I just keep hugging and kissing her and she's like what's wrong with you, mom? My DH usually works nights, so he's used to staying up all night. So, if he's off during the week and I have to work the next day, he'll sleep downstairs so he doesn't bother me with the TV on all night! Which is nice, but then if Caitlyn wakes up and comes in our bed during the night I have nowhere to workout without waking up one of them.

I did go and do an itread (itread 13 - sprints) during lunch and felt so good afterwards. Of course, I had to go and eat that brownie after my lean cuisine to negate all those calories burned. :( Why do I do that to myself??

Beth, yea, I'm not sure where he came up with Mr. Rogers idea! But, I must say, don't go on youtube and search for Mr. Rogers for costume ideas. Or, let your kids. OMG, some disgusting stuff on there.

Hi All!

Beth: Kickmax low impact wasn't challenging? Did it include the leg work at the end too? That always kills me though! Ya, I knew you were joking about loving the crowds (LOL!). It's hard to be "jokey" when you're typing! Also love the headless man costume! What great Halloween ideas! .... WOW. that rotation you posted the link for looks like a killer! Actually, I ended up going back and looking for it and I did find it. It was the ADDITION of this cardio on specific days:

One minute jumping jacks
One minute continuously up and down a flight of steps
One minute Jump Rope
One minute Walking Lunges
One minute running in place
REPEAT THIS 5 minute CYCLE THREE TIMES

I thought about doing it this afternoon, but I had some good DOMS from HSC yesterday (shoulders especially!), so i did the Band Part version of STRETCHMAX! Ahhhhh!!!!

Joanne: Good for you for getting in your run today!! Sometimes we really psych ourselves out about doing things we haven't done in a long time (i.e. ME running!!!). I love the Halloween costume ideas for your kiddos! Mr. Rogers is a great one! ... My oldest son went as Arthur one year (when he was 3 or 4 I think) and that was the BEST costume ever (we made it). My middle son was going to go as Hannah Montana this year, but he chickened out... What a relief Caitlyn is doing better! So glad to hear it!

Kathy: thanks for the kpicture compliments! I like your kids' costume ideas too! I love Halloween!! I always end up taking the boys around and hubby stays home and hands out the candy. Which is good, because I'd be doing "One for you, two for ME!" !! Great 4DS workout today! I haven't done those in a while and miss them. Maybe I'll do the circuit 4DS premix this week.

Vilma: Those fangs look AWESOME! That site has some cool things in it! I love Halloween too!! it's a true ALL fun holiday! Hope you get some rest soon!! that calgon bath sounds good to me too!

Hubby is going to take Zach for b-ball tryouts in a few, and the other 2 are done with their homework, so just have to get ready for school tomorrow, and then chill OUT!
