Hello Ladies!

Hope everyone had a great weekend.

Took the weekend off from the pc to enjoy as much natural sunlight as possible this weekend. I am fighting the 'hibernation mode' here plus TOM is looming close by so I just needed to move and get outside.

Lauren Brooks 40 m kb dvd here for me and possibly her 12 m blast w/o too.

I'll try to get back on here for personals as I'm realizing my time is short if I want to get out of here on time

Hi Everyone! It was funny to miss most of you (hi hottie!) yesterday. Hottie, I hope your emotional roller coaster got better --- I know you enjoy the coasters, but let's keep away from those emotional ones, right? :) Vilma, hope you did enjoy the sunshine -- it was so perfect outside where I was, so we did a fair bit of that ourselves. Yes, with the dog, too, Hottie. :)

Chris, the walk sounded really fun -- did I say that already? I'll bet it was a great day for you. Then you went to work after that?!

I did Tracey's hi-lo med ball this morning --- sooooo much fun, and it was good cardio without feeling like my body was getting beat up. That is definitely my favorite Tracey, and given how my body seems to be complaining to me more lately, I'll probably be working it in on a regular basis. Fun music, easy choreography.

Hope everyone has a great day!!!

Hi Everyone!

It’s been a while again. My DH had the whole weekend off, so I spent that time with him and the kids and we were trying to fix our front yard and tint our windows of the house. I hope you all had a great weekend! Today I went to the doc to get the Halter Monitor on again! Before going to the doc I decided to get my workout in and did Dove’s Bodies #4 and it was AWESOME!!! That workout is great!!! Tomorrow I’ll workout after they take the HM off. I think I might have to do some Laundry Max today.

Vilma: Have a great time with your workout today!

Beth: WTG on your workout today!

Hottie: I hope you are much feeling much better today!! WOOHOO!! WTG on your weight loss!! That’s awesome!

I hope you all have a great day today! I’ll try to check back in again later if I can.

HI everyone..

Checking in with Powermaxx and segment 3 of coremax. Yesterday I did Imax 2...I have some cleaning to do today. But, I got myself sucked into a lifetime movie. Don't know if I will get anything else done..LOL

Talk to you later..

Hi All its been a real LONG time since I last posted. Things have been crazy around here. We sold our house and we are moving on Halloween. This happen really fast. I've been packing and getting rid of things. Feels like a Clean House episode.:eek: There are most likely some things I should have thrown out but I just can't let go of them. May be when I am unpacking I will realize I just don't need it.

I have been getting in my workouts and I am no longer doing WW. I am happy to say that I am down a couple of lbs don't know how but I am. Did 40 min run and abs from B&G.

Hope you all are doing great. I've missed checking in. I hope when we are settled in the new house I will be able to post more.

Lori;)

Hi Everyone!!!

Where have all the rotators gone to?

Yesterday we did do the Walk for Juvenile Diabetes. It was a lot of fun and kind of fizzled out towards the end. The morning was COLD!!! in the 30's, and of course everything was outside, but after a few cups of coffee and hot cocoa we were ok! I had the 3 boys with me and my SIL. There were TONS of people and tons of things at the check-in. The Walk itself was great. My boys did a wonderful job, it was a long walk to and from Six Flags, and then through Six Flags. There were Looney Tunes and Clowns and a radio station playing dance music. It was like a big party! The fizzled-out part was after the walk, we got free admission to Six Flags, and my 9 year old , even though he SAID he wasn't tired, got so poopy and ended up throwing a few fits at the park. And we basically dragged him out of there kicking and screaming. Ugh!

And then I had to come home. Took a quickie nap, had supper, and went to work! Work was tough. I was exhausted. And oddly enough my legs ached a bit too from the walk. (Not like a Cathe workout, but a little sore).

Now it's Monday. I had my few hours sleep, and I'm heading downstairs to do a total body weight workout. I think I may do Power Hour, just to shake things up a bit. I've had a lot of ME lately , with the Terminator, etc.

Vilma: Good for you for getting out and getting some sunshine!! I bet that helps some with your PMS and seasonal moods. I have no idea what the KB workouts are like, but I know you'll have fun with them!

Beth: Your workout sounds great too! There's nothing like fun sweaty cardio! Are you going to start doing the TBW thing? I'm starting to think about next month already. I'm thinking I want to do more of a cardio/fat burning month. It seems like I've been doing a lot of weight work the past few months. It might be nice to switch it up. But of course, I'll check Cathe's rotation out first!

Ivy: Nice to see you back! I've heard of the Dove workouts, but have no idea what they are! Glad you enjoyed it. I hope the Halter Monitor goes well tomorrow.

Hottie: I know you hate to get too excited, but CONGRATS on the lbs dropped last week!!!!

Time to get busy!!!

I really wish I had more time to post but part of my aggravation for the last couple days is the fact that the water line for our labs have been shut off so its been crippling our ability to work. Apparently, their back on so I'm going to try and get as much stuff done. (Seriously, if we don't have water for our labs...particularly when we didn't plan on the lack of water...it can halt everyone's work and just ruin everything. Lots of yelling and cursing.) But thanks for all the kind words -- I do try to avoid the emotional roller coasters, but I just got hit with a string of them. But I am happy to see some weight drop -- thanks for the encouragement. I hope you all had a great day (it's even nice out here today too! though its going to go up again in the week...)

Quick post here.... Lori, good to "see" you -- congrats on the sale of the house!! Good luck with the move.

Yes, Chris, I think I'm going to do more full body workouts for a while and just see what it does. I always forget about power hour -- I'll have to pull that out sometime soon.

Hiya Gals!

Did my workout this am and towards the end I got a phone call telling me my baby was ready to come home- baby being my car Sally lol

So after I finished the core section I jumped into the shower as dh was just coming in from doing his deed on voting early.

She looks fantabulous! 4 weeks I was without my car but she is home and shiny & clean- they detailed her for me so I had to go to Bed, Bath & Beyond and get her a new Yankee Candle air freshener lol

After picking her up dh & I ended up going to a restaurant where I had some great southern food... pulled pork, and tons of veggies ermm a few hushpuppies ended up in my tummy too.

Lori
Congrats on getting your house sold. I can imagine how busy you must be - here's hoping I'll be in the same boat once ds is done with HS. I was telling ds last night how a few months before he graduates we'll be putting the house up for sale. Since we are very close to the military base we hope withing 3 -6 months we can have it sold but thats a tale for another time.

I just know you guys are thrilled.

Beth
How's your arm doing? Sounds like Gina is doing well at home with her new family . The weekend was lovely and just being outside helps my mood so much.

Ivy
sounds like you had a nice time spent w/ your hubby and kids. Why do you need to wear that HM if you don't mind my asking.

Kathy
I try not to put the tv on during the day for that very reason. I end up watching my DVR'd shows at night :)

Chris sounds like you had a nice time during that walk despite the cold - brave woman I would be shivering!
Kettlebell workouts are doing great I enjoy just having one piece of equipment that works my entire body and gives me a good cardio factor also.

I was looking into getting one of those light boxes but they are so darned expensive so I've decided to take in as mucgh natural sunlight as I can during the day reason why I an finding myself outdoors more or reading by a sunlight window... it really helps improve my mood

Hottie sending you virtual hugs - life would be boring to say the least without those rollercoasters. Hope you were able to accomplish what you planned for today at work.

Well I smell my dinner that needs to be checked and turned so ...Toodles! :p

Kathy: WTG on your workout today! Those lifetime movies get me too! This weekend I saw one and it was good.

Lori: YAY!! Congrats on selling your house!!! I hope your move goes easy  Did you buy another house?

Chris: Have fun with your workout today! WOW! I can’t believe it was 30 degrees over there!!! That’s cold! The Doves workout is awesome!! You can check them out at www.dovesbodies.com They have video clips for each DVD.

Vilma: WTG on your workout! I’m happy to hear you got your car back!  I have to wear the HM again because my cardiologist wants me to wear a 3 week HM but my insurance said I need to wear a 24 hour one first. I have use it because they would like to see if those palpitations that I feel once in a while will show up. I hope it does so that I can get this over with.

Time for me to get dinner ready. I hope you all have a goodnight! BB tomorrow 

Hey Everyone!

I got through PH! Wow. I don't even remember this workout! It had a bunch of different exercises, and some the same, but it was total endurance! I struggled , but got it done and felt accomplished afterwards!

Kathy: Gosh, I'm not even sure what PowerMax is... is it just cardio? step? Do you like it?

Lori: There you are! Congrats on selling your house, but I can only imagine how busy you are now! wHERE ARE you moving to? You stopped doing WW? Why? Just curious.... Anyhow, nice to hear from you! Glad you're doing ok!

Hottie:
Oh I'd imagine you'd be SUPER busy now that the water is fixed, and you're way behind. Hope things settle down for you this week.

Beth: It will be a good thing to do the TBW's for a bit , It can't hoit! Will you make a rotation?

Vilma: on getting Sally back! It sounds like they did a nice job on her!! I think I'll try to get my daily dose of sunshine this week too, in spite of the temperatures trending downwards. It was 28 this morning and i had to scrape frost off my car after work!

Ivy: I peeked at the Dove workout, they look cool! Lots of variety in one workout, huh? Do you have them all?

Off to homework land! ....

See you girls later...

Chris -- rotations!!! I am such a wack-job, you guys..... I was pulling groceries out of my car this afternoon and I found a page of some rotation I made up. I am always making up rotations and then switching things around! Totally crazy. Yes, I'll throw something together.... tomorrow I am having my first of four sessions with the kettleball trainer. She requires a four session commitment -- fortunately it's not terribly expensive -- $160 for all four sessions. I think I'll do a light workout in the morning in anticipation......

Vilma, do you remember the show "Northern Exposure"? One of my favorite episodes was when the whole town was wearing lights on their heads to help with all the depression they were having. I loved that show!!
