O/T Making your own Jewelry

I need help! I am hooked on making my own jewelry. Anyone here do this? I purchased a ton of stuff today. I went on to Ebay for books. If anyone is a pro or has any info or tips let me know. I was in Jo-Ann today and I am not kidding you a 70+ year old women sat with me and taught me how to crimp a crimp bead and hook up a toggle I want to keep going I purchased a ton of Earrings from a Jeweler last year in Japan and I never purchased any of the beads so I am just going with it all now and I see they are selling them at Jo-anns after all that. Blah, Blah, Blah, sorry to rattle on but some people knit or sew I found my hobby. YEAH!!!!!!!!

It's very cool to find a creative outlet.

I don't make jewelry myself, but I have a colleague at another school who works in the computing department and she used to make all kinds of jewelry out of scrap computer parts, like junk chips, pieces of mother boards, old CDs, etc. She created some very cool stuff!
