O/T .......can't believe this

I try not to be this petty and vain...but here it goes anyway.
I work out to look good. I am supposed to go out tonight and hardly ever get the opportunity. I am 48 and I have a BIG ZIT in the middle of my forehead that will not go away!! Are the Gods against me? I feel like just staying home but I shouldn't be so petty.
does anyone have a 4-6 hour zit cure, or a great coverup idea?

Can you restyle your hair so that it sweeps across the offending spot and makes it less noticeable?

My only other thought is, heavy concealer.

Good luck! At least the lights will be dimmer so it's unlikely anyone will notice!!

That always happens to me, too. My last zit was right at the very tip of my nose.

Do you have time to run out to a dept store? I think you can cover it pretty well but you need a concealer with a green base (green cancels out red). If you get the right concealer and blend in a little foundation over that, you should be able to cover it up pretty well.

I would head for the nearest makeup counter.

I will try to stop at walmart I think physician's formula makes a greenish concealer I have seen there.

Also try taking a little towel and getting it dripping wet with REALLY hot water (hot enough to feel really hot but not hot enough to burn you.) Then take the towel and drape it over your face and let it steam for a few minutes. That should help a bit. I also read that if you drop some visine on it it'll take some of the red out. Seriously, this came from a real book.

Seriously, not trying to be cute, I read, as Kristy said, in a real book, that Preparation H will shrink it. I have NEVER tried it though!

Just copied this from a home remedie site.

Complexion problems? Don't let a pimple ruin your life when a crushed aspirin will get rid of the pimple quickly. Crush the aspirin then moisten it enough to make a paste. Put it on the zit and it'll be gone in no time. And, this treatment is much cheaper than other acne products.

I guess it reduces the redness since aspirin is an anti-inflammatory.

I know how you feel! I am going out dancing with some friends tonight and I still have a cold sore on the corner of my mouth...it's in the healing process so it's not looking as GHASTLY as it once did but still...why NOW??? x(
