Nursing and Healthwaves..

Some of you know that I am trying to get in to nursing school. Recently, I investigated some part time work at a company called Healthwaves. When I enter nursing school, I am looking to work part time somewhere and when I saw the health and fitness link at this corporation, I thought I would be perfect for it!! Here is a link to the site:

Anyway, I put in an email to the HR lady and she just called me!! I told her I would not be looking for work until the spring of '05, but she did mention that they hire many people in the fall for their corporate wellness programs (alot of snowbirds here). So.....I would like to know if anyone has worked for this company as an RN or whatnot and your opinion. This is a long shot on this forum but you never know....

I have not worked at Healthwaves, but it looks like a fun job. I am finishing my Master's in Health Services with a concentration in Wellness Promotion. I would love to work in a place like Health Waves.

Awww Beverly...thanks for answering!! As I figured, not much response...


The job really does look interesting for sure. However, I have decided that I will have to wait atleast until Spring or next fall to really investigate it. Right now, I am trying to save up as much money as possible to prepare to enter nursing school. Since I don't even know if I will like it yet, I have to stay with my full time job until I am sure. While this is not my "true" calling, I have too many perks here to leave. And, if it works out, I want to bank in on the three weeks vacation I get next March.
