Hi ladies. UGH!! - I'm sick!! I tell you I'm destined to never finish a rotation or follow a program through. I was supposed to do Burn 2 today. I came home from work last night and just felt crappy. My chest was so congested and I had a nasty cough. Out of nowhere. I woke up this morning feeling the same and stayed home. I was having nightmares about having swine flu and having to move into a hotel so I don't infect my family! I doubt it's that though, I don't have a fever. I took a three hour nap and feel tons better.
Chris, what a hoot! Your mom's conversation in the doctor's office. I love it! I don't like to change back into workout clothes either. Once I'm done, I'm done! I did lots of DVR catching up today. Mostly Mad Men. Very cool show.
I seriously doubt we'll have Shock Cardio by T'day. Christmas, possibly. I'm not sure what's filmed and what's not. I love Cathe, but why not just tell us. I haven't looked at the forum today (except here), so maybe there's an update.
Beth, oh, the food thing and kids!! DH and I used to have many "disagreements" about that. I don't believe in the clean your plate thing. Yes, try it. If you don't like it, don't eat it. But that's where the problems came in. Colin is the world's pickiest eater. He rarely will eat what we eat. I'll usually make him something else. DH used to get so upset. I just can't let him go hungry. He seriously will not eat what's on the table. DH has had him sitting there for over an hour and he won't eat it. Tears and screaming. i don't see how that helps anything. I know it's probably my fault for not cracking down sooner, but it must be the mother instinct thing or something - I just can't let them go hungry. I've decided maybe someday he'll expand his palate, but if not, we only have to deal with it till he goes to college, then he'll get married (after college!) and his wife can deal with it!

The rest of the kids are OK about eating, but if they don't like something they'll only eat a little and of course, just as I'm about to sit down, they are all hungry and want something else. I tell them if they can make it, they can eat it.
Kathy, sorry to hear Chris' team didn't win, but sounds like they did great. I think kids sometimes just get fried by the end of the season and are tired!
Hottie, good job on the leg workout! What happened with Evie's knee? I remember you saying something happened and she might need surgery or something? Or am I remembering wrong?
OK - here's a couple pictures. That's DH scaring Caitlyn in a werewolf mask during her parade. Colin is the gnome, and of course, MJ. I don't have a good one of Jameson. I bummed - I think this is the first year I didn't get one of all the kids together.
