Hi ladies!!
Chris, not such a fun day with that appt.! But, you'll get it out of the way at least. Sounds very busy after that!! I think you need to fit in something fun with that TurboKick!
Hi Kathy, Hottie...
Beth, well, hopefully Larry will make it home in time for warm turkey sandwiches! That's one of my favorite parts of Thanksgiving, the leftover turkey. Mmmm. We'll have to get one next weekend and cook it since we won't be having any leftovers. I put the front part of my hair in a ponytail on the top of my head when I work out. Looks absolutely ridiculous, but no one usually sees me. Except this weekend, DH went out to breakfast, came home and I was finishing up. He, for some reason, thought it was hilarious.
That sounds like a good plan - getting in those veggies before the other stuff. Wow, you do have alot of extras to do when Larry isn't there. I had to laugh about the garbage a mile and a half away. We have to fight with the boys to drag the cans 50 feet out to the street.
No, unfortunately, there's no way my dad will be home for Thanksgiving. Or, his birthday, which is the next day. They did remove some gall stones in his bile duct (I think) yesterday, but the doctor said at some point he'll need to have his gallbladder removed cause there a bunch of stones in there. But, he has too much other stuff going on now to deal with that. Hopefully what they did yesterday will help some with his stomach issues. He still has bleeding from his bladder. They are giving him blood every couple days to make up for what he's losing. It's really frustrating - I don't know what they plan on doing. The one resident did talk with my mom the other day and gave her three different options - none of which were good. Basically they need to shut off the bladder to give it time to heal. My mom has a call into his urologist (who hasn't been to see him in a month) to ask what the heck is going on.
Anyway...we are leaving tomorrow for the waterpark. I'm kind of excited, even though I'm not a big water person! It'll be nice just to get away for a couple days.
Last night Ian got invited to a bonfire. Boys were invited till midnight and for the girls it was a sleepover. I told him there was no way he was staying till midnight!! It's a Monday night. They don't have school the rest of the week, but I have to get up in the morning, and I wasn't going out to get him at 12:00. I picked him up at 10:00, and he seemed OK with it. But, isn't it a bit crazy to have a party like that on a Monday when most parents have to work?
Took Colin and Caitlyn to the eye doctor last night. Found out Caitlyn has this strange thing where if she just looks out one eye, the eye twitches and she can't see very well. But, when she uses both eyes together, she sees 20/20. The doctor said there's nothing they do for it - it's just how your brain is wired. When she covered one eye, she couldn't read any letters on the chart - I was thinking she would be getting glasses. Colin does need glasses. He seemed OK with it. Thankfully we have good vision insurance!
Oh yea, my workout....I've been babbling so much, I forgot! Rythmic Step was on the rotation, but I did Amy's Hi/Lo Dome instead. Very fun!!
BBL...good luck with everyone's cleaning/cooking!
