I was not sure if we were still doing the thread. I know Tricia is working on her "Mud form" :) and Ithought kblvr was still recovering from being sick and I had my own issues but, I figured I would do a thread and see if anyone wanted to continue. Either way, today I did LIC. I only do the bonus step on this. I have stepping issue and the rest of the dvd just does not work for me. The bonus routine is easy enough for me to follow, it's pretty basic.

Hi Murphy,

Sorry to go MIA (again!). My training has been thrown out the window yesterday and today, my littlest one has been sick and today we got to the doctor. She's got an ear infection, is congested (chest and sinuses) and her throat is a "little bit red, too"! I tell you, thank God my kids got their Daddy's tolerance for pain, because she hasn't said much. Just been listless, laying around and sleepy. We're clear to send her to school tomorrow as long as no fever. To top it off, my DH and training partner is gone this week on a job, so I'm left with the 3 kids and 2 dogs to deal with myself - and the crazy schedule that goes with it all.

Okay, sorry - that turned into a poor me post, didn't it! I hope kblvr is starting to feel better. I hope to do HIIT training (30/30) tomorrow. I haven't tried the premix you mentioned, (at least I don't think I have.) I like the choreography on Cathe's step routines, but while I'm learning it I spend more time laughing at myself than working out. This can go on for months until it finally clicks. I definitely was enjoying the LIS series before my defection to Mud related preparation, but I had a ways to go on the steps.
Something to strive for, though.

I'm hoping to post tomorrow about the butt-kicking I got at the hands of Cathe, no matter which workout I decide on. :)

Hey guys! Great job on your workouts Murphy! I have sick kids too, Tricia. I'm feeling better, but last week my 2 yr old was sick with high fevers. Finally took him in cuz it wasn't going away. He had a red throat also (that explained why he kept spitting his food out). He finally got better and now my 4 yr old is sick with the same thing. Also this week the company I work for is moving locations-so that means a lot of packing as well as our normal work. So this week is very stressful. I don't see me getting a workout in. I went away from the LIS series anyway. I have so many of cathe's that I want to try! I just received my barbell and wanted to try it out! Last week I did the 4DS kickbox and bootcamp. Wowzer!!!!

I think this is the season for sick kids. My little one was sick two weeks or so ago, I was then sick and then after I got better my back went out. I hope everyone feels better soon and stays better.

I have absolutely no excuse for not working out this morning. I kept telling myself 5 more minutes and the next thing I knew, it was time to get up for real. Yikes.

Tricia - 3 kids and 2 dogs is a lot to deal with - even when DH is around. Good luck.

Kblvr - I hope things get better or at least less stressful.

Just popping on to say I also did nothing today. I told my DH I lost my mojo, he must've taken it with him!

Thanks, Murphy - I need all the luck I can get! BTW, just sent my daughter's singing video off to the Today show - maybe I'll be going to New York, you never know!

But right now it's too late to even see straight, let alone type straight - so I bid you a very Good Night!

Today was cardio supersets. OMG... I did a premix so it was not so bad but still.

Tricia - good luck to your daughter. Keep us posted.

Hi Murphy,

I'm sorry I keep going MIA. I have not been online much lately.

Well, I've had to rearrange some things. Our Girls On The Run Coach thought it might be a bit tough for my daughter to do the Mud Run on Saturday and the 5K on Sunday, so we found a different Mud Run on June 2nd. That's great for me, because now I have extra time to train! I hope you're doing good. I haven't heard anything back from the Today show, but I'll keep you posted!

Have a great weekend!
