~*~NOV 09~*~ CHECK IN for Friday, 11/13~*~

This has turned into a TOUGH week.

First my mom's neighbor dying.

And then Zach's blood sugar issues.

Now there's Zach's "school" issues (Not a good P/T conference last night at ALL!). He's been lying to us about finishing his homework in school. he's got 2 "C's" because of it.

*sigh*

Today I'm going to the service for my mom's neighbor. I have to get my workout done early, which will be DISC 18, Back & Bi's. And then I'll get ready and go for the afternoon, back just in time for Zach to get home from school.

It's just "that kind of day" , I'm feeling down, disappointed, sad, gloomy.

Hopefully things will improve!?!

Chris, sorry to hear about the capper to your week! I hope that's the worst of it and things will start looking up! Hope you enjoyed the back and bi's anyway.

Where is Kathy?! :)

I did the 20 minute cardio workout from bodyrock.tv this morning. It was intense! And, it was a 45 minute workout for me. :p I did KCM's cardio blast warm up first, and afterward I tacked on my kettlebell swings, which took a while because I was pretty wiped from 20 minutes of intensity. Cathe's going to kill us with that hiit workout, I just know it!

I'm looking forward to the weekend!! Cheers......

HI ladies...

I started to make the thread and then Vic needed the computer for a work email. So, I started the kids lessons and didn't get back here until now..

Anyway, glad we got it started!! Thanks Chris..

Chris: Wow, sorry to hear your week is ending up being so horrible...Hope it gets better quickly.

Beth: I agree..Cathe makes me tired just looking at the photos. I know it will be tough workouts. I am still looking forward to them...

Ok, today is the last disc on Meso 2..Disc 24 back and biceps. I may hop on the elliptical too for some extra cardio. If I have any energy after Disc 24!!

Hey Again...

Got done with DISC 18, back and bi's. Tough stuff! Failure baby!...
Thanks for the sympathy,

I actually just got an UPLIFTING phone call. It was from Zach's Insulin Pump company, they have approved him for something called "continuous glucose monitoring". Which is a device he would wear (a subcutaneous needle, actually),that CONTINUALLY moniitors his blood sugar! it would alarm for lows or highs! And it's covered 100% by our insurance. Yay! It should come next week possibly....

Anways,
so I'm outtahere, off to my mom's. Myy mom and my sister and myself are all going to the service together...

BBL ..

Where is everyone today?! Chris, that's really interesting about the pump for Zach! Nice to get a bit of good news -- insurance coverage, too!!

How was the memorial service? One of our employee's grandmother died this morning -- she really helped raise him and his brothers, so it was very tough for them.

Had a productive day at work! Really nice! And then had a nice time with the kids after school and now we're all chilling before dinner. Prison food is on the menu! (see fb). Prunes for dessert! (see fb).

Is anyone reading this?????

:p
