Howdy All!

Just getting it started

Today I have Lauren's On The Edge kettlebell planned, plus my old Yoga Zone Relaxation & Stress vhs tape for some good body stretching

Yesterday I ended up doing KPC and I dipped into the Halloween candy and ended up having two heath fun size bars = 6pts yuck! What a waste of points and I told my kids to hide those pumpkins!:mad: Ugh so stupid on my part.

Hey Everyone! Vilma, don't be so hard on yourself on the candy -- as you say, tell the kids to hide it and then just move on. On those swings.... the long swing you let it come up above waist level -- get a really long nice arc going. On the short, you come up to waist level or less -- your arms still shouldn't come into play much, but on the speeds, you use your arms to actually stop the kettle bell at a very short arc, and yes, go as quickly as you can. Those speeds really got to me, as I mentioned!

I was going to do a cc today, but I woke up and it was raining, so started low max. I porbably could have gone for a run -- it's foggy and nice out now, if that can happen! -- but not raining. Oh well. Low max really wiped me out -- I'm feeling out of shape and hoping it is just my cold holding me back. I may try to do some abs/core work later -- I feel like I need it -- yesterday ended up being a bad day on the clean eating page.

Beth ahhh I can see the swings now. When I do my swings I push my butt back with the bell almost hitting my butt and then I snap , squeeze the glutes and the kbell is at chest level for the most part .

I'll need to see how yours/Tracy's work. I did your homework last night in my kitchen and whoa it got my HR up I likey :D

Hello buddies!

Today is my rest day so I decided to do Yoga from Namaste Yoga episode Half Moon and it was great! I already planned my workout for this week coming up. I added cardio everyday and weights every other day.

Vilma: WTG on your Kettlebell workout! I just previewed one of Lauren's Kettlebell workouts and oh my gosh I would be so scared to us a kettlebell. What if that thing flies off my hands and crashes the tv or me??? LOL! I've also been digging on the candy! My DD comes out constantly to ask me if she could eat this or that one, and I'm like, I want one too! NOO!!!! This weekend has been VERY bad eating for me and I told DH last night that I just feel horrible after everything I ate.

I hope you all are having a great day! Today it's been rainy here and cloudy and ever since the time changed, it seems like the day is going by SO SLOW!

Hey Guys...

I'm tired. The 13th hour was a killer! It never fails, on "fall back" night, it's very slow and quiet and the night is forEVER. On "spring ahead" I have a busy night and then lose an hour!! :confused:

No workout for me today. I have a little headache. Anything but a headache!, but it's not horrible. Hopefully it will go away.

Tomorrow I start the NOV 08 cathe rotation!

WTG guys on your workouts today!

Vilma, I bet your body is firming and changing from those kettlebells! You're so into them!

Beth: Low max IS tough!!! I know I have that same crappy cold. When I take the Zicam it seems to lessen up, but the minute I stop it, my head and nose start getting more congested. I can't take that crap day in and day out for weeks, can I???

Ivy: WTG on getting to CATHELETE status! I know I just made it a week or so ago!! So yesterday I caved into the freakin candy too. And I ate crappy at work too. So we're both in the same sinkin boat, except tomorrow I'm in a lifeboat and back to business!! Are you going to start a rotation ?

okay. better run, I have a few things to do, before I get back my car and head back to good ol' work.
 
Ivy, I know what you mean about the day going slowly! The time change is so strange. Sorry it was a slow night for you, Chris!

Oh, and true confessions..... low max was very interrupted this morning because everyone was up and kept needing me, so I didn't do it like I should have! :) I think I gave up on the 7th one entirely, because the kids were in my way and I was afraid I was going to whack them.

I can't believe it's only 9:36pm!! This day has been LONG.

Chris: I'm not going to do Cathe's rotation this time because I need more cardio. I just made my own rotation. So far I'm seeing great results with adding a lot of cardio into my workouts again so I will stick to it till I get to where I want to be. Once I'm where I would like to be or close to it, I will start back to alternating one day cardio and one day weights :) I do miss doing Cathe rotations though. Here's how week one looks so far, I didn't do week 2, 3 or 4 yet because I would like to see how I feel after week one.

WEEK ONE
M: BM2 (Premix Cardio Only) + GS CT (Premix #1 Timesaver) = 74 mins
T: The Next Step (Abs Included) =92.5 mins
W: LIC (Premix Lower Body Circuit) =56 mins
T: Ultimate Cardio Core Workout(Abs Included) =60 mins
F: Timesaver #4 =43 mins
S: Cardio Fusion #1 =48 mins
S: OFF/YOGA/STRETCH

Basically what I've been doing is one day cardio with weights or circuit then the next day just cardio and so on.
