Not for a workout - but how about a journal?

I currently use Suzanne Schlosberg's Ultimate Workout log to track my workouts, weights used, recovery notes, and nutrition info. It's quite good, but I have now become an almost exclusively Cathe user. Wouldn't it be great to have a journal geared to Cathe workouts with a place for suggested rotations, weight deviations (from what Cathe is using), etc? Just a thought.

YES! As soon as possible! Maybe someone creative on this forum could publish one if Cathe would license her name and image??

There was a post similar to this regarding calendar / journal --

fantastic idea, I use a workout journal everyday, I'm sure a lot of people do. Put some motivating pics of Cathe in it, and I'd be all over that!:)

Love the idea of those motivating pics of her and crew. I did print out the calendar and use it, but there's just no space like in an exercise journal. Does Cathe monitor this site as well as the others? I wonder if she's ever considered an idea like this before. I think a lot of her users would buy it - maybe even those who don't journal would start. I find mine invaluable for seeing how I've progressed.

Great idea!!!! I also use a journal, but would love one with just Cathe workouts, some of her cute encouraging phrases, photos, etc. I would definitely but that one!!!!!

Hmmmm.....

Sounds like you all need a BLOG (weB LOG)

Google offers a blog site where you can set up a blog but it wouldn't have any motivational stuff on it.

I always have used a exercise log and I make my own with word and just print them out so I can write on them and keep them in a more convient place them my computer.

Remember Blogs are posted to the world and I'm sure some of us wouldn't want our weight and measurments all over the internet. As well as personal thoughts period days and when we bloat.

It would be a really awesome if Cathe would make her own with inspirational things. Mine just has what workout I did, how intense it was, what size weights, how long did it last, what routine, how long did I keep my heart rate in the 80% range. And any notes I choose to write down. THen for nutrition, I based it off a log book that Kathy Smith made as it was really nicely laid out, and it even allows you to eveluate how hungry and how full you were before and after each meal, has a water intake tracker, and notes about food dieting or geneeral. I then also have a section for goals. A daily goal that can be anything but keeps me motivated and going toward my top long term goal, and then a weekly short term goal I try to shoot for that week. And then a seperate page for my long term goals, and the break down of them so I steps I accomplish to reach them. Which usually plays into my weekly goals.

Plus I have a measurement tracker, that actually graph my measurements and weight, as there is really nothing better the to see that line go up or down and know that your the one one that are putting those dots on. I do a graph for a lot of my clients especaily if they need motivation and they really get excited when they see where they started and how far that line has traveled. Most usually can't believe it. And ask, "Did I really do all that? I didn' think I lost anything close to that."

Until Cathe decides to or not, you can always build your own with Word, and use that until she gets one out.

I'd get one of these in a hearbeat. Especially if it has a log of every weight and endurance workout she's ever produced.
