I thought I'd start a mini support group for all of us that wanted to but could not attend the Road Trip. Boo Hoo!!!! I have to work. It's going to be lonely on the forum this weekend. I know we are so happy for those that are going and it will be great to hear all about it. But, I was feeling a little blue today and I thought maybe some others were too? I just did KPC to cheer myself up and I do have to leave for work which will take my mind off of it. Just thought I'd share :(
 
It would be fun to be able to go - but I am looking forward to September. In fact, I'm already so hyped that I'm not even worried about missing Cathe's! I know some of you are familiar with Charlene Prickett. She has a week-long getaway up at Lake Louise, Canada. Oh, man, I've been waiting for this for YEARS and finally saved up enough money, got my nerve together, and registered. I hope Cathe does her road trip again, so I can try it, too.
 
Such a good post! I think it's just what the doctor ordered. I really wish I could go...but just couldn't make it happen at this time. It will be very quiet around here for sure.

Heck...I can't even do the Home-Trippers weekend, I've just got too much going on.

I'm not familiar with Charlene Prickett, but it sounds great!! That sounds like something wonderful to look forward to. Good for you!! I hope Cathe does her Road Trip again as well. Have a great day!
 
Great post lisannjam. I wish I was going too. Oh well. We'll be there in spirit w/ the others.
I'm off to do Imax2. I don't think there's anyway that will cheer me up until I'm done with it so I guess I better get moving.

I wanted to go too but circumstances here just aren't right. (being preggo HA!!!).

I've got a busy weekend planned as well so I won't be able to participate in the home trippers either. boo-hoo.
 
It would be nice to go... BUT!! our vacation starts next friday and I am excited about that!! ..... so thats ok... actually I live in Oklahoma and couldn't afford to go on the road trip..... not this time of yr anyway..... Rhonda

I'm sorry you're feeling bummed about the Road Trip. I'll be able to help keep you company here on Saturday and Sunday, does that help you feel better? ;)

haha mega Step Blast - that was my very first tape of Cathes I purchased in 1996..memories....anyway, Im kinda sad im not goin but more happy that everyone goin is so excited and gonna bring back photos and videotape and all those goodies. Im pretty busy this weekend too with a party most of the day sat and im in a wedding on sunday - so i couldnt possibly miss that =.( i'll try to stop in tho and see whats goin on here. Maybe I'll stop in when I get hungry and nibble off somebodys virtual pizza :+
 
Me too Connie. We'll have fun here at home with each other. Now if we couldn't go online, then I would be reeeeeaaaaaallllllllly bummed. You guys are like my fix everyday!lol

I'm bummed too. I really wanted to go, but had to stay because DH was scheduled to take the test for his CFP certification and would not be able to watch our daughter. Well, I just found out last week that his test got postponed until November! That was a REAL bummer!

I really wanted to go as well, but since this is freshman weekend, I would have had to know in advance, 18 months ago, or maybe even 20. But one thing about it. I'll be dead tired, both Saturday and Sunday, so in a way, it will be kind of like I went.

But I'll get my own workout in, dragging equipment out, seting up the tests, chasing the new football players around as they like to try and hide once they figure out that they actually have to work hard those two days. I always have a lot of fun, and it's great to get to know the new guys as a group, just wish they'd figure out what my name was. As I get Coach lady, Coach mama, Coach?, Um Um, etc.

But I get to see a lot of young guys, sweating, huffing, puffing, and all running over to me. Just the problem is, that most are just out of high school. But they are still nice to look at.

DH is working out of town, DD has a karate tournament and I'm getting company from out of state. I'll have a fun weekend, but will be thinking of those who got to go and hoping I get a chance someday...just a bit of cheerful envy, I guess.
