Hello ladies!! My week just went to hell in a hand basket x( I have been working out, but life and stress has got in the way of my eating. I will get back on track!!!!

Some one asked me about GMs, can't remember who?? Anyway I will post a link.

These are great for the posterior chain-glutes and hammies. It helps to think more about pushing your butt back as opposed to just bending at the hips and then squeeze your buttocks as you return thrusting your hips.

Catherine, good morning! It was me who asked about the GMs, thank you for responding! And I had no idea what they were, I wasn't even close... why do they call them good mornings I wonder?

Well, I have been doing pretty good. I went shopping with my sister and mom yesterday. I had so much fun! Until we got to DSW and I totally freaked - I absolutely hate shoe shopping and they have soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo many. It was quite overwhelming for someone who only has a pair of plain black and brown shoes for each summer and winter, plus running and aerobics shoes. I hate shopping anyways. :eek: I am a strange one, I know. But I had a great time and got some cute stuff from Old Navy and VS and a couple of pairs of shoes (and heels!) from DSW. I ate very good yesterday - lots of fruits, veggies and lean proteins and no simple carbs except for the Gilatto my mom got for us. I didn't feel too guilty about it, though because I have been doing so well and it wasn't that fatty... plus I ran 4.5 miles yesterday. It was gorgeous out! :7 It was a great run, too. For the first time in my entire life I OUTRAN MY MOM! This has never happened before!!! She is always having to slow down for me. I don't compete with her, but that felt good. :)

Mag, I got R&C yesterday! Yeah! :7

Hey Girls!

Everything here is go'in pretty good. I did have a small treat last night after supper but no big deal...oh and a drink:) But I stopped at one and decided to drive home.

I got outside yesterday for a run and it was sooo nice! Loved it! My inner thighs are sooo sore though! Isn't it weird how running on the TM and running outside works different muscles like that?

Catherine** I hope things get back to normal for you.

Missy** I use to like shopping more then I do now. I hate trying on clothes! Can't stand it! I find I spend all my money on the kids and Im sure you do that as well. When I try to take a chunk of money out for myself I feel guilty, why do we do that?

I may run outside again today. These days are far and few between. Mainly b/c I am working Mon and Tues but also winter is far from over here yet!

***Does the happy dance into thread*** Just finished my heavy leg workout this morning and squatted 110# for 4 sets of 5 reps!!!!! Next week I will go for 5x5, but I didn't want to push it today (read- wimped out ;) ) So much of heavy liftin is mental for me. I should be squatting much heavier, but I can not seem to make myself think that I can. I don't know if that makes any sense to you all or not.

Lori, glad you are having some nice weather!! We are supposed to have sun and almost 70 today. A far cry from what we've been having- rain and flooding x(

Missy, I think they call it good mornings because you are bowing like you are saying good morning?? Maybe :7

Hey Ladies,

I posted yesterday but I have no idea where it went. Eating is going good. I went to fitday to double check my intake, coming down to the wire here I have no room from mistakes!

Here is yesterday's workout: Kinda fighting a cold here so I did not feel like working out at all, so I really kind of mixed it up which worked well. I did 4 DS Bootcamp skipping four of my least favorite drills, then did the LIC Blast Add-on, then did the three blast and the finished step routine from 4 DS LIS. Workout was about 45 minutes, didn't wear my HRM though.

Catherine - I am sure you could do more that 110# for legs. I know I could, but I don't go much heavier than that because I don't want bulky thighs! Yuck!

Missy - I hate shopping too!

Linda, I hope you can kick that cold soon!!! One day we will all find our losts posts out there somewhere ;)

I am so excited ladies!!! I am getting a workout room!!! I have been discussing this with my DH for about a year now. We are 2 people living in a house with both a living room and a family room. Why do we need both. So currently I have equipment in both rooms and usually have to drag equipment from one room to another to workout and back again when I am done. Well, today we discussed it (his idea) and I am getting the power rack that I always wanted, a new TV and a room all to myself!!!! I couldn't be happier!!!!!!
