Hello there.

Catherine - !!! I'm suprised you found time to post and I'm glad you're also finding a little time to have some fun.

Affirm - I can't wait to hear about your first day. Hope it goes well.

Rest day # 6. I wanted to exercise today but I didn't sleep well last night and although my back pain has diminished it is still there and I'm scared I might make it worse by doing something today. I can't promise anything but I'm going to try and do something tomorrow. I did a search on the forums and some people here have been in my shoes and some of them were told to rest for weeks (and even months). I'm writing how many calories I'm eating on a journal to keep track. So far I haven't seen significant changes in the scale which is good because I don't want to gain weight because I haven't been able to exercise as usual. I hope I can exercise tomorrow. I'm so anxious about it. The other day the doctor told me I tell some people they have to exercise and they don't like that and I tell you not to exercise and you throw a hissy fit. lol! Oh well...

Edited to add: I miss my cat every day but I'm feeling better about it. It's good to have someone to put things in perspective and those were my mom and one of my friends. They reminded me that my cat was dying (he actually had 3 tumors in one of his kidneys) and that he was probably in lots of pain. He was really suffering and although difficult for me it was best to put him to sleep. The hardest thing is that he was really special. He was a rescued albino cat with polydactyl paws ("mitten paws" as some people call them) so I will probably never have a cat that looks like that, but that's life. I still have funny memories and some pictures. :)
