No sweets - week of July 15

Rose, thanks for the heads up on MIC. I am definitely not fond of the really high impact. Speaking of high impact, I decided to do IMAX 3 this morning, but opted for the step only premix. I like it more that way. The blast are just too much impact for me. The steps are also complicated and found myself off beat many times, but got it together. IMAX 3 is just collecting dust because I don't use it, so I feel that I have to get some use out of it. I was planning to just do half the workout and realize they had a step only premix. I guess I never noticed that before. If i can get the routine down better, I may be able to do the step only on an 8 inch to get my heart rate up a little bit. I will have to see how it goes. Anyway, that premix was 30 minutes then I did the GS- C & T timesaver of 32 minutes. Eating has been good this week and I have worked out for 5 days. I feel good about this week.
 
Affirm, I feel the same way you do about IMAX3 and mine is definately collecting dust :D I forget that there's is a step only premix. May have to drag it out. ^^5 on your week- great job!!


I did SB this morning. This is a fun one!! Today will be cheat day for me BIG TIME!! Going to an Irish Pub will be have Fish-n-Chips with a side order of Irish beer :p :p

I didn't sleep well last night, but today I managed to do KM (warm-up and kick punch combos 1-4 only) and segment 3 of Stretch Max (that one was collecting dust and I decided to do it today). I've never done Imax 3 as is I only do the premixes. The impact on it is very tough on my joints, but I do the blasts 6-10 premix as is at least twice a month. Today I had a slice of cake with a scoop of ice cream so I *also* cheated lol! It seems like I keep avoiding GS Legs, I'll probably do it tomorrow.

Affirm you are doing such a great job on your workouts. Every time I want to get back on track something happens and it's taking me forever to lose the last 10 lbs, but I won't give up.

I had a small piece of cake at a pool party today, so that was my cheat.

Rose, I am really trying hard this summer. I had lost weight in January and got back down to my normal weight......only to gain most of it back when I got off track in April and May. I have really been doing good this month, but the weight seems to be coming off much slower this time. I also realize that I am lifting weights more and that may have something to do with it so I am trying not to get discouraged. Overall, I do feel good about being more focused.
