((((((((No Sweets Week of Dec 23)))))))

Rose, I am glad your back is better. Please do not rush back into working out too soon!! You have done so awesome this year and should be so proud of yourself. You have some very well thought out goals. Glad to hear your gonna start getting those annual check ups ;)

I never did get around to doing legs today. So I guess it's tomorrow.

So do you ladies go out on New Years Eve? We usually stay home and I'm ok with that.

I rarely go out on New Years Eve. Some people are out there drinking and driving doing stupid stuff sometimes. I stay home and I visit my family and friends on New Years Day. If I feel better I'll also do legs tomorrow but with very light weights and I'll skip the deadlifts. We'll see. Have a good one! :)

Well, I am finishing my last protein shake of the year!! Did heavy legs followed by LIS cardio (without the blasts). Was able to work up to sets of 85 pounds on squats and was happy with that since it's been a couple of weeks.

I am actually quite happy with the progress that I've made with lifting this year. I never would have thought that I could squat that much in a million years. I know people squat a lot heavier, but for me that's heavy!! That's all that matters. My bench was up to 77.5 pounds (probably isn't now) Max set of chinups was 8. So I have made some pretty good progress this year with lifting. Next year I hope to continue to do so. I know that I have to eat to support heavy lifting. That's the hard part. Eating enough and eating the right stuff. I am hoping this new diet book I got will help with that.

I hope you ladies have a great day and here's looking forward to another year of supporting each other!!!!!

I did legs today with a little bit of cardio, but let me tell you that I used really light weights and the cardio was extremely low impact floor cardio. My diet was pretty clean today also.

Affirm - One more day of vacation! I hope you enjoy New Years Day!

Catherine - I read a couple of weeks ago that women that exercise with heavy weights and do their cardio 4-5 times a week can eat as much as 2,200 calories. I normally eat anywhere from 1,800 to 2,000 (on those days I don't cheat) so when I read that I thought yeah that's not gonna happen any time soon. Of course eating 2,200 calories of lean protein, whole grains, and tons of veggies is way better than eating 1,800 of junk (not that I do that because I don't but I tend to cheat a lot). What diet book did you get?

I hope you ladies have a happy and healthy new year!!!
