Morning everyone!

I did really well with water and salt yesterday, but Sophie and I had a tea party and I had two cookies:)

Today my water intake is already well on the way (I'll likely surpass my 64 oz). I'm determined to avoid the cookies and continue not eating any salty snacks:)

Happy Saturday and may the force be with you;)

It says in the Lawbook of Life that 'calories consumed while entertaining a small child (particularly a female) during a Tea Party do not count towards your daily caloric intake.' It says it right here, honestly, I'll send you a copy.....!!!

I'm at work right now x( and I just made an enormous mug of green tea - does that count towards water? Lately I've been wearing down the carpet with all the trips to the restroom. Guess that's good!

Well, Matt dragged me out to Fiesta Ranchera for dinner last night, where I had the Vegetarian Combo A (bean tostada, bean burrito and cheese enchilada) and of course a bazillion chips with salsa - they don't salt their chips though, fortunately. And THEN we split an order of flan.... so good... and yet sooooo bad. :p I don't have any clue what we will eat today - the fridge is rather bare as I haven't made it to the grocery store since the in-laws left. I'm drinking my breakfast smoothie now, but lunch and dinner are up in the air.... what to do, what to do?

Plenty of water-check

No salty snaks-check

No Sweets-no check! I ate 6 pieces of the hot tamales candy that someone else bought at the movies last night. :(

By the way I saw Fantastic Four and it was a fun movie.

That's ok Terri.

I did great yesterday and so far today. Getting the water in, no sweets, and no salty junk. I also haven't had any carbs after 3pm for the last 4 days, and no snacks after 7pm.

We might go see the Fantastic Four later too. I hope I can stay away from the buttered popcorn and snowcaps! Send Jedi self- control vibes this way!

Terri do you think my 6 & 7 yr. olds will like it?

Hi All -

I went to my 35 year class reunion last night. I have to say that Cathe DVDs and tapes made a difference in how I look compared to my former classmates. A few people even told me I looked "hot!" Wow. I'm going to live on that compliment for quite some time! I stayed away from the munchies, but indulged freely in the wine. So Kick Punch & Crunch really kicked my butt this morning!

I'm doing fairly well with the water intake and salt restriction. I'm still having trouble getting in 5-6 small meals a day. When you get up at 10 a.m. it's hard to fit so many meals in! My portion control is getting better though.

Have a happy Saturday!

Margaret

Kali the show we went to was at ten twenty pm and there were no kids there. I think if they like action stuff they will enjoy it. The humor they may not get as it was geared toward a older crowd. There really isn't a lot of violence so that isn't a issue for kids. It's just a fun movie and I they will like the Ben character very much:) I don't want to say too much and give anything away:) However I guess what I am trying to say is YES I think they will enjoy it and it is IMO ok for kids.

Good luck on staying way from the concession stand! :) Jedi vibes coming at ya!

I'm doing fine today diet wise...but I am lagging in the H20 intake which is unusual for me. Usually by this time I already had the 64 oz and a million trips to the bathroom to prove it..!

Keep at it!

Been on the run most of today. Had to travel an hour and a half with DD for her to be fitted for a bridesmaid dress. She wanted to stop at a new Mexican Restaurant she had tried on the way home. Urrggg... When I tried to explain that I could not go to a Mexican Rest. because of the no salty snack challenge, she just told me I was obsessed...x( soooo... we ate Mexican. I did very good for me. I had six, just six tortilla chips. That was so hard but I had to about sit on my hands to keep from eating more.

I ordered the black bean patty on a multigrain bun and felt a little vindicated.

Plenty of water as usual. No sweets.

Last month I learned that I can't share that I'm on these challenges with my family or friends. All of a sudden cakes, desserts, etc. start popping out anywhere I go visit someone, at work, or at my own home. This month I didn't say anything to anybody and if someone offers me something I have a tiny bit of it and then leave the rest or I just say no and I ask for a glass of water instead. No additional comments you know.

Hello all!

I was doing great with the salt today until I had some fish fillets and they were a little bit on the salty side (not extremely salty though but salty) so that was my little bad thing today. Of course I've been drinking water like crazy (I'm so thirstyx( ) and I've been doing great with the sweets. Weekends are always hard.

Today has been another good day for me. It's hard to believe but I drank a gallon of water yesterday. I never thought I would be able to drink all that water. The weather has been in the 90's so I'm sure that's attributing to my water intake.

Keep up the good work everyone.
