No sweets, salt, junk food, more water Check-in Jul 3

Hello girls! Today I have been doing well on the sugar and the junk food, not so good on the salt, and I've been trying to drink more water. It's so hot and humid over here today. I'll have to wait till the sun goes down to do some kickboxing. I hope you're all having fun this weekend.
 
Had to open a Little Debbie brownie for my daughter. It smelled SOOO good! I looked at the box, when I was tempted. ONE brownie has 290 calories and 24 grams of sugar!!!!!!!!

That was enough for me to step away from the brownie (box!)!

Now I will have a healthy dinner. Good luck to everyone!
 
I know how that feels. Today I was doing some grocery shopping and I wanted to buy one of those liquid yogurt smoothies. One had 29g of sugar for just 8.25 oz!!! Of course I didn't buy them. That's way too much sugar. With just one sip I think it would send me straight to bed with the energy drop. I bought all natural frozen fruits instead (no preservatives, no sugar added) and made a smoothie with just fruit and light vanilla soymilk. It was delicious:9 .
 
I did fine today, no salty snacks. I am just going to have to give the Mexican restaurants a wide berth this month and I should be fine.

I am allowing sweets this month but in moderation. I did have a 96% fat free frozen yogurt today from TCBY.

I already drink the required amount of water and then some....

I've printed my personal goals for July that I had outlined on that thread. I am going to tape them above my computer screen so I can see them every day as I work.
 
I'm doing good today. Not getting my water in, but I definatley will tomorrow. No salty snacks, I had 1 piece of blueberry muffin bread. It was really good. It's hard to have absolutley nothing when your at a cookout.

Well...the only good thing I did today was drink plenty of water.

I just got back from a 4th of July clambake....ate too many steamed clams (dipped in butter of course) and let's just say frozen margaritas were VERY popular! I stayed away from the dessert table for the longest time, but finally succumbed to a teeny, tiny magic bar.

The good news is that I did LowMax this morning.....the bad news is that I ate WAAAAY too much...I actually feel so yucky right now. It is amazing that I can actually feel a difference in my body and energy levels based on the junk I ate today.

Back to clean eating tomorrow!
