[bold]Lori I read your post on OD and really feel for you. It is tough being a mom to a girl. I just wanted to share with you what really works for me and Mariah and it is so simple: dates w/ Daddy and girl dates with Mom. We have silly girl dates w/ us vegging out watching girly movies and having conversation, just she and I at the bookstore w/ tea perusing Hannah Montana stuff, or window shopping and trying on clothes even if we aren't getting anything... I am still her mom, but I am also interested in what she is doing and what is important to her and that means a lot to her. She is getting very independent now and is soooo emotional and insecure. Dan takes her out at least once a month to dinner or a movie, holds the door open for her, takes her out for chocolate. Dads are so important right now at this time in our DDs' life and they really need their dad's love and protection, so it may be a good idea for DH to take her out and let her know that she is special. If she is feeling loved and secure she will not feel the need to have to try to make you feel bad.

Good luck, I know how hard it can be! Also, do you do cardio first, or weights?
[bold]Alicia how are you feeling today? I hope that bug just passed you by! This has been a really nasty winter for us. Usually we don't get sick, but we spent what seems half of the winter down and out. I CAN'T WAIT FOR SPRING! We don't have snow on the ground, and have had very little this winter, so I hope this doesn't just kill you to hear that I envy you and your snow! Here in Indiana we only got to put our snow suits on and sled about three times!
[bold]Rose have you used that cookbook yet? I love it when you can find good stuff on BARGAIN! I hope that you were able to get caught up on sleep.

[bold]Catherine great job for busting previous PRs!!! That is exciting! I will write off your one day if you write off my entire weekend! PLEASE! }(
Well, this weekend was a total wreck and I was completely out of control. I have no idea what happened... wait a second, yes I do! It was MY HUSBAND!!! He had a huge sale so Friday night, he wanted to take us out for pizza. It was no big deal because I had done great all week and deserved it. Then we went out on Saturday morning to get some paint for the kids' rooms (the colors they chose were lovely!) and on the way home he saw a "Fried Perch" sign, got some and then threw some fries in the oven when we got home. We ate more than we needed. Then my mom comes over w/ that bunny...

We had left over fried perch and pizza for dinner. Then we had DS's birthday yesterday at Queso de Carlos (Chucky Cheese, or Hell depending on your experience w/ that place) so MORE pizza and cake, on top of I was so pooped yesterday after all of the painting the day before and running around chasing after my 4 year old who thinks he wants to go home w/ everyone that has a kid his age that I didn't do anything when we got home, just laid on the couch like a lump and watched Clint Eastwood westerns. You guys, you can feel good about whatever sin you think you committed this weekend because it wasn't as bad as mine! :+ So, because this isn't long enough, I will get right to the point: I did a 3.5m interval run and ME UB premix. NO SWEETS OR FRIED FOODS TODAY! See you later!
