+++No Sweets for March 27th+++

Morning Ladies,

Boy, is it hard to do cardio on tired legs! I felt very slow this morning. Anyway, I did CC #4, workout was 48 minutes, traveled 4 miles, average HR 160, and burned 675 calories.

So how is everyone doing? I am still doing good, but if that darn scale doesn't budge soon I just may not be responsible for my actions!

Hey, I need some new workout clothes, but I don't have a fortune to spend anybody got any recommendation?

Good Morning!

How is everyone!? Things here are good but not great! Today is going to be a good day though, I can tell! So far I have had my All Bran bites and protein shake. Im gonna get ready to work shoulders very soon and some cardio.

Linda** Ive felt that way before in the past! Been there! The scale doesn't move and your thinking "whats the point" Keep going though. Prehaps you don't have any weight to lose?

I just put DS down for his nap with hopes that he will go. He isn't feeling very well and I feel like I am catching whatever it is that he has.

Good morning ladies! I hope everyone is doing well this morning. :)

Catherine, you can eat w/ a migraine? I get so sick when I have migraines, I couldn't even think about eating even crackers! And they last at least 12 hours, and after that if feels like I have a hangover. Not fun at all!
And I always shake when I got a good workout it. I actually LOVE that! Let's me know I worked it good.

Linda, my jaw just hit the floor looking at your workout!

Mag, you will love yoga! Are you sore today at all from it? I usually get sore the first couple of sessions because it works things that have never been worked and it challenges old muscles in a new way - yet it leaves you feeling refreshed and happy. LOVE IT!

Rose, I just got this book from Usborne for the kids called "Why Junk Food is Bad for You" because they are always whining that I won't let them eat an entire bag of Doritos in one sitting everyday. It is a kid's book, but I am still learning things from it. I knew how chicken nuggets were made, but this goes into detail of how they are made with life-like drawings of the chicken and everything... will never be eating chicken nuggets again!

Lori, have fun getting a good should burn!

I am going to run today. It is nasty out, so I will be doing a treadmill workout. I think that I will do intervals! :)

Hello ladies!! I am back to par today :D

Linda, doing cardio is always hard after working the legs ;) I am such a clutz when I do cardio after a heavy leg session :eek:

Lori, what shoulder w/o are ya doing?

Missy, when I get a migraine I don't eat much. But if I eat anything it's not good. For instance I had a popsicle and a handful of lays chips yesterday. I also feel hungover usually after a migraine. Dizzy and nauseated for about a day. Today I didn't though. Yesterday's was mild though- thank goodness!! Have fun with your run!!

Hey Ladies!

Yesterday I did R&C, some abs, and yoga. Today might be a bit of a write off as I'm heading to Red Lobster with a friend after work to celebrate her birthday. Changes are I will not get a workout in when I get home:-(

Linda, I may have to agree with Lori, maybe you don't have weight to lose? You look very slim in you avatar. I decided a while ago not to be ruled by the scale and haven't weight myself in over a month now. I know some people use the scale number as a motivator, I prefer looking at how my clothes fit, how I feel, and the strength gains that I'm making. I guess diffrent things work for different people but what I'm trying to say there is no need to beat yourself up over a number. Changes are it will just happen for you when you're not looking;-)

Missy, I do have a slight sensation in my shoulder blades and in my hamstrings. Not sure if it's from the yoga or from the insainly high number of reps in R&C

Rosa, LM with a medicine ball? Sounds intense, I will have to give that a try next time I'm doing this one. Have fun at the new job and enjoy the eye candy:9

Catherine, I too get the occassional migraine and when they're bad I totally get into the carbs..bread, chips, pasta. Good to hear you're feeling better!

Well, great news! I got on the scale and it was finally down 3 pounds!!!


Lori & Maggie - Thanks for the kind words. But I do have some weight to lose. I usually don't weigh myself either, but I have been cleaning up my eating and just checking myself from time to time, only to see no change.


Missy - Which workout are you talking about? If your talking about the weights, over in the Hardcore thread some of those weights are nothing.

Hi Everyone!!
Sorry I haven't been here in a while!
DH and I and 17 of our friends went on a cruise!! (western carribean) It was so nice. Esp. to be with all our best friends! On our second day of the cruise, my best friend, received sad & shocking news, her sister (only 43) suddenly died (blood clot traveled from leg to lung). It was very difficult. Fortunately, she was surrounding by the best friends you can ask for.

I did eat more than normal ---- all those late night eating and drinks!! But, I'm pretty proud of myself, cause I only cheated a few times on sweets!!! I really wasnt even that tempted! I KNOW!!!
Maybe my taste buds are finally changing.
DH and I did a few workouts. But, the scale doesn't lie!

Now its back to super clean eating and some tough workouts!!!
It sounds like you all are doing pretty well!!!
Keep up the great work!!

Alicia, I am so jealous of your cruise!! How sad about your BF's sister :( So young WTG on your eating!! I wish I had your will power.

My workout this evening was legs and chinups. I am now officially fried!! This was supposed to be yesterday's w/o. So now I am off schedule a bit-but oh well. I felt so pumped during my w/o!!! Eating has been good today :D
