Morning all!

More than halfway there. How are we all holding up? I know Angie gets a cheat day tomorrow because of her daughter's birthday. How about the weekend for everyone else?

Stupid co-worker brought stupid donuts.

Does anyone know if I could sue him for inflicting unnecessary pain and suffering?? x(

Angie

I'm always happy to help! :D

Well, I confess to having some fresh strawberries topped with a little bit of whipped cream. That's not TOO bad is it? It was a teeny tiny bowlfull with just a little scoop of whipped cream. It just looked so yummy!

Otherwise I am doing good. Tonight is Pizza Night, so hopefully that will be enough to keep DH from insisting on getting Blizzards too. I don't know if I could resist the pull of the Blizzard. Just thinking about those chunks of peanut butter cup makes my mouth water... (where's a drooling emoticon when you need one???) ;)

Emily I am sure that little bit of cool whip is ok. Check with our dictator Shelley:) I for one am startiong to think about what all I am going to do come july1st. Heaven help me!!!!! Whose idea was this again? (glaring at Shelley) Naw just kidding...no one forced me to join did they.

HELP ME I AM READY TO CAVE>>>

Terri

What are you ready to cave on, Terri?? Whatever it is, spit on it, stomp on it, and throw it away! NOW!!!!!!

Angie

My MIL wants us to come over for cake and ice cream on Father's Day. This is to celebrate F'Day and her B'day. Truth be told I don't like frosting. :p She has been on a cake baking frenzy, and I know her heart is in the right place. I just don't want any. How would it be if I scrape off all the frosting and just eat the cake. Do you think I will hurt her feelings? I also have to make an appearance at my nieces first B'Day. Sunday is just going to be a bad day all around for me!

Hey Everyone,

Hope everyones day is going well. Me and My daughter went shopping today for F-day and finally found something. We were so tired and hungry, so she wanted to go to a restuarant to eat. As you know I haven't had a diet soda in 16 days until today. I was so thirsty that I just want a little taste. Well this is the honest truth, It tasted horrible. Not anything like before I layed off the drink. I told my daughter that it tasted weird, and it wasn't the quality of the drink. You know when you haven't had something in a while and it just doesn't do it for you anymore. I will be easy in going in moderation from now on.

I hope sooner or later sweets will give me that Yuck!taste. I DON'T THINK SO!!!!!

Hi Girls! Great work...although I think we are all gritting our teeth right about now!

Congrats Jes! I think a marriage celebration breakfast definitely warrants waffles with syrup...that sounds so good!

I'm doing okay today except THE TEMP brought in a box of full-size candy bars today...Hershey Bars, Kit Kats, Reeses Peanut Butter Cups, Caramellos....OMG!!!! She's killing me.

BUT, I didn't falter...yet. It is going to be a long ten days. I wonder what she plans on bringing in next week?

I have a wedding to go to tonight...no wedding cake, no wedding cake, no wedding cake...

Tammy

Tammy - ooooh, a wedding cake is going to be a tough one to resist. Stay on the dance floor and hide in the bathroom when they pass the cake! Good luck!!!

Angie

What's with this temp Tammy? She sounds like a walking candy store....

Angie, At this point ANYTHING sweet would be good. Thanks though and I am holding strong! Thanks for being so stern!

Terri

And once again, the cookies were in my hand, the bag was open... and I put it back. I just couldn't face coming on here and saying I'd caved.

I ended up having some cantaloupe and a yogurt with berries (straw-, blue- and rasp-) in it.

Hey shelley,

Funny you say that because a little while ago I was looking at my daughters doughnuts and went as far as saying "Can I have a one of your doughnut"? And when she told me I could, the guilt sat in. I thought about it and said no not today. I just grabbed some grapes and left that sinful kitchen.

So we're all having those tempting moments. good that we are resisting.

kim

Still holding on here. For me it is getting easier each day. Thank you thank you thank you!!! ...that we are doing this challenge. I NEVER would have thought that I could do this and I couldn't with out all of you!!

Just for the record, waffle/sugar cones are mostly sugar, but cupcake cones are mostly air. No sugar and only 20 calories. And yes they are delicious filled with whipped fruit and a little spray whipped cream (in which there is only 1 gram of sugar per serving). Just in case anyone was wondering. :9 :9
