No Sweets Check Challange 6/26/05

Ok so how is everyone doing on this our last weekend? Boy the time flew by didn't it? I have done ok this weekend but I did eat a licorice rope at the movies friday night and had a tiny lil bite of my friends apple pie at dinner. It was just a the apple and it was tiny! HEHEHE look at me making that sound like noo big deal. Ok I will be good from now until the first, I THINK :) Hope everyone else is doing well and having a good weekend.

I've been good allll weekend...so far! We'll see how tonight goes. Considering there are only 5 days left of the challenge, I might just stay home and do 5000 crunches instead of going to the evil Cheesecake Factory. Not!

I had one oops this weekend. It seems the the closer I get to the finish line, the more I screw up. But I've done better this month, than I have in a long time.

I think everyone has being doing a great job!

This challenge is so much tougher at home over the weekend than during the week at work. My hand is so much closer to the cookie jar here! I seemed to eat a lot yesterday - all healthy - just to keep away from the sweet stuff. I would love to have just one Oreo cookie!

How is everyone going to celebrate the end of this challenge? Eating a bag of cookies? Gorging on a gallon of Ben & Jerry's? Or a non-food treat like new workout clothes or a new Cathe dvd?

All THE ABOVE! Just kidding Angie:) I haven't decided for sure yet but it has to be something REALLY good and I also may order a new workout dvd.

Went to my gd's 8th b-day party and had half a piece of chocolate cake w/fudge in the middle. I split the piece with my dmil. That could count as my exemption, right? I thought I did pretty good considering that there were sweets everywhere! EVERYWHERE! Bowls of candy, candy in the pinata, candy, cookies, candy in the goody bags! There was a big cooler loaded with juice boxes for the kids. I stopped my kids after, I think, number 4 or 5. Today they are on the No Sweet Challenge. LOL!

My dh said that the heat/humidity makes you feel bloated. Is that true? Because I'm feeling like one of Macy's Thanksgiving parade floats right now. I don't know why? Half a piece of chocolate cake couldn't have done that? It's not that TTOM, just did that.

Oh well, I'll go with his theory, since I've been eating pretty clean.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend. We're off to the pool.

I will celebrate the end of this challenge by going to the beach the wk. of the fourth and eating what I want. Well within reason. But I will feel guilty. Then get back home and get to it!

My favorite things I like to eat at the beach in Domino's pizza, ice cream from the shop and waffles from this diner.

Boy that really sounds sinful!

I think I might celebrate the end of the challenge with some new ankle weights. The old ones chafe my legs. I'm going to try not to reward anything with food. And since I can't afford to reward myself with Chippendale's dancers, the ankle weights will have to suffice!

Wow guys! How is everybody? I didn't see the check in yesterday. ** I think Limecat has a new bf ** LOL! Well no sugar filled celebration for me. I'm getting Core Max this week for my reward.

Yesterday I did okay (eating some sugar but trying to keep it under the 50g a day mark) and today I've been doing good so far. I hope everybody has a great week (omg! July 4th weekend is already here! :eek: )

Doing okay today. No sweets. Just had lunch and had some papaya. Fruit does taste sweeter now.

I am still workingx( ... just pass the eight hour mark. According to my backlog, I'll be on here until 5:30 or 6:00. I started at 4!! That's 13 1/2 or 14 hours!! I called my boss and she said to do what I could and let the rest go. Yippee!! I'm going to work 'til 3:30... 10 hours is enough for anybody to work on Sunday.

Busy, busy weekend. Sorry I didn't post a check-in yesterday. I was at my sister's at a BBQ where, thankfully, there was no dessert. I DID, however, eat a few chips with my BIL's secret family recipe dip. And I had some lemonade. *sigh* I guess it's not too bad.

DD and I went strawberry picking this morning and she wants me to make shortcake for dessert, so I'm making them sugar free and having yogurt with mine instead of whipped cream.

Five more sleeps and we're DONE. Then it's on to the No Salty Snacks challenge, which I believe will kill mex(
 
Ok do you know the secret family recipe for the dip? We WANT it! I have only 5 more sleeps to consume such a delicacy :)

Hi ladies...we are almost to the finish line, just a few more laps to go!

I made it through another Sunday dinner at MIL's house. This one was especially tough as we celebrated my nephew's graduation from middle school. There was cake, and ice cream cake and cookies. My MIL just kept rolling her eyes at me...LOL!
