Good Morning!

Have to say, eating was pretty good yesterday!

M#1-All bran bar/ yogurt
M#2-WW eggo and cottage cheese
M#3-Protein bar and banana
M#4-Pork chop and a salad (one cookie and 5 mini eggs:) )

Again, when my eating is cleaned up, thats when I realize how bad I was actually doing! I can't beleive I was eating as many cookies as I was last week:eek:
Todays workout is back and cardio. I may do a shorter run on the TM, then 4DS KB and BC...we will see!

Have a good day everyone!
Lori:)

[font color=purple]Good morning, ladies! Yesterday was GREAT! I ate:
B: Kashi Go Lean in rice milk with an orange
S: Apple dipped in peanut butter
L: Carrots, potatoes, roast rump (leftovers)
S: pear
D: Homemade marinara sauce (tomatoes, zucchini, red peppers, garlic w/ italian pork sausage) and spaghetti

Today I am going to have to eat more greens. I also have ME lower body and Hardcore Kickbox (Janis Saffell) on the docket for this afternoon. But first, I am going back to bed! DS went to bed w/ me last night and kept tossing and turning so I am soo tired!

Mag, where are you? :)

Catherine, I am so sorry about your headache, and YES, I have those dreams... I do usually get them w/ migraines. Crazy, huh? I like to think of it has God preparing me for the storm because it would be much worse having a lovely dream about kittens and puppies and then getting out of bed feeling like a train just hit you out of nowhere. :p
Is there a reason for getting the migraines so frequently? Have you seen a doc about that?

Alicia, please tell me how you get DH to run w/ you. :p

Linda, age is just a number! Nothing to fear. ;) My mom is... well, let's not say how old she is, but she is older than you and she still does marathons, can do 13 pullups in a row, looks hot for any age and is the coolest chick alive. :7

Lori, don't stop posting on OD. It looks like you had a ton of support and advice. :) Don't let one ruin it for ya'.

Rose, how is the new job going? :7

My goal is to not eat any sugar for the month of April. It is only one month, and if I can go the entire month I will feel so good about my mental stamina. I have already gone almost three weeks in the past month, so I can do it for just a little longer! I will talk to you guys later.

Missy

Morning ladies,

First I'll correct yesterday's port the Chest Presses were 5/5/5 at 108#, not 8/8/8 and the Dumbbell Press for Shoulders was 5/5/5 at 30's for a total of 60# not 30#. Today was cardio and did CC#3 was difficult because for some stupid reason my mp3 player wouldn't play them in order I had to manually switching the tracks. But anyway this is how it went, 45 minutes, 3.76 miles, 157 average heart rate and 626 calories burned.

Oh, I broke down and stole a robin's egg from my kids last night, but I only had the one. Stupid thing was right after I picked it up I started reading so I don't even remember it to say it was good.

Lori- Listen to Missy, but personally I hate the OD!

Alicia - I don't eat anything during the fast and so far I've only done it on rest days, to afraid it would be harder on a workout day. I think I'd be too hungry?

Catherine - Sorry to hear about the headache again. I hope it stays away for awhile for you.

Missy - Thanks for the pep talk!

Have a great day!

Linda

Hey ladies!! Feeling better today. Just dizzy and tired. I think it's the weather, allergies etc. causing my h/a. I usually get more in the spring. I ate very little yesterday, but it was all sugar laden :( dry Cheerios, popsicles,.... I am hoping to do some cardio tonight, but will wait and see how I feel.

Lori- looks like you are doing great!!

Missy-glad to know that someone else dreams that way too. I agree it's a warning and sometimes if I get up and take something quick enough I can ward it off. But usually I don't x( Your homemade marina sounds yummy :9

Linda- I don't think one little robin's egg is gonna ruin you :+

Hope everyone has a great day. Will try to check back in later!

Hey Ladies!

Sorry I haven't been on in a while. Yesterday was a hectic day and I didn't get home until 11:30. I was at a belly dance recital that two of my sisters danced in. They are quite good, but I just don't shake that way;-)

I also hang my head in shame as I had chocolate and cheesecake yesterday and no workout:-( So disappointed in myself.

Lori and Missy - well done with the eating yesterday, it's what I should be doing!

Linda - your willpower is quite impressive, between fasting and resisting sweets and those kickbutt workouts, you're one strong lady!

Catherine - so sorry to hear about all those migraines. When I used to get mine really bad I took zomig tablets and they seem to help quite a bit. Of course the triggers and treatments vary individually so I'm not sure if that's something your doc might suggest to try?

Hi to Rose and Alicia!

Eating today has been pretty good so far. Had a protein shake and a banana for breakfast, a kashi bar and a clementine for a snack and just preparing to go out for lunch. That will be the test. I'm hoping for some healthy options on that menu :9

Not sure yet what today's workout will be but there WILL be one! :7

Mag, thanks for the suggestions. I can not take Imitrex, zomig or maxalt. I don't see a Dr for my migraines. I am a Nurse Practitioner and I treat myself (I know sometimes that's not a good thing). I really don't get them often. Usually one every 2-3 months. I think the weather has had a lot to do with lately! If they were persistant or abnormal I would see someone :)

Oops now I feel a little silly, giving a Nurse Practitioner medication suggestions:p
I haven't had to take the zomig for quite some time now and really want to keep it that way.

Oh no Mag, I didn't mean it that way LOL!! I do tend to treat myself and sometimes that's not always wise :+ But I am pretty in tune to my body. Glad you haven't needed zomig for a while!!!

Today was a good day for me. I did 4DS double cardio and P90X+ abs. I love that ab routine. OMG did I just say love and ab routine in the same sentence?? Please don't tell anyone!!!

I am anxious to hear from Rose about her new job!!!!!

Good Evening ALL!!!
No workout today...got home late from work. UGH!
Had a nice big salad for lunch...and then it was sabatoged by half of a choc. chip cookie. This was a big cookie too. So half, was more like a whole. I couldn't help myself.
Dinner was better...a bowl of Kashi cereal (too tired to cook)

Tomorrow I have soccer playoffs. So, I don't feel too bad about missing a w/o. Though, bi's and tri's would have been nice.

Missy - DH plays a lot of basketball and lifts weights, so he's in pretty good shape. Its the one activity we both enjoy. Though, he likes the shorter runs. Its funny, because we always end up in a racing eachother (its quite funny).

Has anyone notice any differences by cutting back on the sugar?? Like, more balanced energy, feeling better??
I can tell a difference with my energy. Its so much more even (no crashes). My stomach feels less bloaty too. Just some things I've noticed.

HELLO TO EVERYONE :) Of too bed-
ALicia

I have finished the race,
