No strength days

There are some days when I have no strength. It is all I can do to just get through a workout.
I usually do a day of cardio then a day of weights.
Am I overdoing it?
Do we just have these days or am I over training?
Help?

You could be overtraining. But there are many other factors that could be causing the problem:
lack of sufficient recovery (sleep, less intense workouts to allow recovery, nutritious food in the right quantities to help with recovery);
the cumulative stress of both exercise and your daily activities as well as mental stress and environmental factors like allergies;
not eating enough (healthy) calories for your activity level or having an unbalanced diet (ie: too few healthy carbohydrates).

You'll have to look at all these factors and figure out which ones might be causing the problem, barring an impending illness that your body is trying to fight off).

Its a good idea to take at least one day off a week (you can do stretching on that day, which would be very beneficial), and to have a lighter week of exercise (perhaps concentrating on flexibility, corework and balance) every few weeks.
