Night coughing

I was wondering if any of your little ones have this problem? My ds who is 2 1/2 is coughing at night only(dry cough) I have changed his pillow to hypo allergenic and his sheets have been the same since he was a newborn. I read something that suugested a vaporizer but I dont want his dry skin to get irritated from the water in the air which can actually make him dryer(go figure). I would love any suggestions.

Try a humidifier. It puts water back into the air.

My DS, who was 2 at the time, used to cough all the time around that age. When I took him to the doctor he prescribed Zyrtec, which DS takes when needed, but his cough is more due to allergies/sinus problems. He also gets eczema really bad during the winter, which the humidifier helps with, but does not eliminate it.
