Hi all,
Just thought I'd introduce myself. I have been a lurker here for a while, hoping that I would eventually be a poster too. We have a DD 6, DS, 4 and have been trying to have a 3rd for almost 4 years. Have had a couple miscarriages too. Anyway, I am 6 weeks today, and I feel so lousy that I think this may just be a "keeper". I had some lab done and my hormone levels are high and so is the hcg so I am being a little optimistic here and posting! That puts us at Feb. 1 for a due date, but I have to have a csection so probably middle of january. Only part I am nervous about is age, I just turned 35. I hope I have the energy to keep up with family and work while being pregnant. I have to say i am a little worried about weight too. I am a 6 day week Cathe regular and I know I won't be able to keep that up for long. It's just a constant worry in the back of your mind that how about if I don't bounce back after this one? Diet is good, however I have eaten quite a few hamburgers in the last few days!}(

Congratulations!! I also am pregnant with my third child (due in October) and will be turning 35 in January. I was a little nervous about the age and my energy level too, and really the only part I struggled with was the first trimester. I was very tired. I don't know if it was age-related or because I already had two little ones that kept me busy. I also was a 5-6 day a week Cathe regular, and I have been lucky to work out one day a week since being pregnant this time around, and I'm gaining rapidly, but I just remind myself that I will be able to get back into shape after the baby comes. Right now, I should just listen to my body and not worry about it. We've got the rest of our lives to get into shape, but only 9 months to nurture this little person, you know? So enjoy yourself and the occasional hamburger!!! And again, congratulations!! :)

Congrats and welcome! I'm due with my first child (a boy!) late September. The first trimester was rough for me--lots of refined carbs and lackluster workouts. However, since about 12weeks, my workouts are right back up there, and the eating is SO much better (well, I'm at least eating more veggies, protein, etc...still have a pretty strong sugar addiction x( ).

Congratulations!!! I'm pg with my 3rd and turning 35 next month. I'm due very early November so I'm thinking more like late October, but the first trimester was rough. I'm only now getting back into my workouts, but not quite at the level of pre-pg yet. My energy came back probably 2 weeks ago. I will admit being 35 and having 2 kids in the house is a lot more tiring than being pg in your 20's with one or no kids. Congratulations again!!

I'll be 35 in July, you're not alone here! My energy level is always low 1st trimester. You're right around the corner for 2nd trimester---"the honeymoon" of pg....lots of energy coming your way!!!!!

Hey congratulations! I remember you posting about pregnancy over 35. I'm almost 40 and expecting my 7th, so it can be done;), although I'm definitely feeling my age this time around.

keep us posted and join the TTC/preggers check in, if you feel inclined.

Maggie:)
