Okay what a crazy question for this board but its the only place I could think of that I would get such a wide audience.
I am going to New York city for vacation July 20-27th and the hotesls are so outrageous that I thought I might consider renting a apartment from someone. There are so many places that I can't tell what is a scam and what is not so I am hoping somewhere here has done this before and had a suggestion for one of two things
1. Reputable agencies or individuals who rent vacation places?
2. Apartments you might have actually rented in New York that were good?
