Hi everyone! I posted this question to Cathe but I know she gets TONS of questions and is very busy so I thought I'd try to post it on here and see if anyone else could give me some help...
I'm very frustrated and hope you can help. I recently have changed up my workout program and am doing more intense cardio and lifting heavier weights. So pretty much I'm working out more intensely. I weighed myself last week, which was one week after starting this new program, and I was up 2 lbs! I just decided not to get upset thinking it might be water retention from eating too much salty food the night before. So I weighed myself this morning, which is my second week into the program and I'm STILL up about 1.5 lbs! I'm super frustrated!
I'm getting married in October and I've already lost 16 lbs and I want to lose about 10 to 15 lbs more. What could be causing this weight gain? I've been eating clean and counting calories. Staying around 1800 calories a day and my TDEE is about 2500 calories (and I never eat more then this) so I just don't see how I could be gaining weight. Any insight or advise??
Thanks, everyone!!
