New Video Rotations.

Cathlete
I was so bored over the holiday weekend (my hubby was out of town and live about 6 hours away from any family). So, I got ambitious and put together some new video rotations, 5 to be exact, which use all of Cathe's tapes including her new ones along with a few from Karen Voight, one FIRM tape (the only one I own), Body Pump, and CIA's Extreme Interval and Powerbar Training. I also have a recumbent bike so I fit that into the rotations too. I originally was trying to put together a video rotation for the lower body solution but had trouble fitting in enough cardio and upperbody. The only thing I did not include in the rotations were the cardio sections from the CTX series (except Power Circuit) only because I wanted to do cardio sections that were a bit longer, but that's just my personal preference. I'd love to get some feedback. But, I just realized I have to get to a soccer game so I'll post the rotations later if anyone is interested.

Thanks,

Stacy

I'm very interested! Can't wait to see them. (Sorry you were bored over the weekend. At least you thought of something fun to do!)

Okay, I lied, my rotation doesnt use all of Cathe's videos. I left out the wedding video. I think I'm going to do each rotation for 4-6 weeks. I've tried to alternate each rotation as far as hi rep/low weight with the next rotation being low rep/high weight as far as upper body goes. I also tried to incorporate more leg work like the lower body solution book suggests. Also for some non-Cathe tapes I omit its ab sections and substitute a Cathe ab workout ie during the day I do BodyPump or CIA Extreme Interval. I've tried to do at least two interval workouts each rotation too. I like to workout for 3 days, take one day off, workout 3 days, day off etc and that's how I've planned my rotations. For my recumbent bike work I plan to do an interval type of workout much like Cathe's treadmill workouts. I'll have to see how it works out once I get Cathe's new ones as far as time goes. This is a bit more than I usually do as far as workout length, but I have a new job with much better hours so I'm trying to do longer workouts like I did years ago in my younger days, lol.

Looking back over that, I think I'm going to have redo some. Looks a little too ambitious, lol, but who knows. I'm still waiting for some videos to see how they're truly going to fit into that rotation.
