New to the Mac world

I am impatiently waiting for my new Mac to arrive and wondered if anyone has had any problems using this website on a Mac. It will have bootcamp, so I can also switch to Windows, but I'd prefer not to.

TIA!
Kirsten

I got my first Mac about a year and a half ago and I LOVE it!! I will never have another PC. I have never had a problem viewing websites, including Cathe's. I use the Mozilla browser most of the time because I prefer it over Safari, but I occasionally use Safari, too. Honestly, I haven't had any problems with my Mac since I got it. My PC used to crash all . the . time. My Mac is like Old Faithful! ETA that I do not have bootcamp and have never felt a need to get it. ;)

Mac for years, here. No problems with the website (except for an incident trying to register for the 2008 RT. Oh the horrors). I now use both Firefox and Safari as browsers with no problems.

whew! I am so glad! Everyone in my family now has Mac's and all I ever hear is how great they are ect. I can't wait - I am so done with PC's especially Dell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for your responses!

Macs are the absolute best! I've been a Mac girl for about 8 years now and will never again own a PC.

I use a Mac at home and have had no problems at all with Cathe's web site. I use Firefox. Love the Mac!

I don't have any trouble with Cathe's website or the forum. I'm on an older MacBook Pro. Welcome! You might enjoy listening to Leo Laporte he talks about a lot of Macintosh stuff or the Mac Geek Gab. Both are on iTunes and are free podcast downloads.

My husband converted to me macs about 11 years ago and I have not used a PC at home since. I am stuck with a PC for work and I always have problems.

I'm also a Mac ... have been for FOREVER. I'm a former journalist, and it's all we ever used at the papers I wrote for. It's great AND user friendly. Congratulations on your new Mac!!

Our home PC is on its last legs, which has prevented me from posting much lately aside from at work :( and I'm considering a Mac. Is there a learning curve when switching from PC to Mac and can I just move my current programs (Quickbooks & Adobe Photoshop) to the Mac? TIA
