New to the forums...

Hey ya'll!
I am new to Cathe's website and the forums, but am very excited to be on here.
My husband and I had our first baby in July and it has been quite a journey with trying to get all this weight off!!!
I was very sick through most of my pregnancy and was not able to continue my workout. Once I was feeling better the doctor told me that the most I could do was just walk! :( So thats what I did.
Throughout the 40 weeks I gained a total of 50 pounds!!! It was horrible! I have always been in good shape and to see my body go through that was just too much!
But now I am 11 weeks postpartum and I have about 12 pounds left to lose.
I saw Cathe on fittv and was immediately impressed. Once I came on the site and saw the success stories and read some of the forum posts, I knew this was the place for me.
I ordered cathes begginer/intermediate step video and I am planning on working my way up through the rest of the videos...I just need to take it slow for now...otherwise my body will probably go into shock! haha
I am really looking forward to chatting with you all and having a support base here.

2 months (10 weeks)
Length: 25 3/4 inches (97th percentile)
Weight: 16 pounds!!! (97th percentile)
 
Hi! Congratulations on the birth of your first baby!!! That's so exciting! I just had to chime in that I also have a child born July 21, but 6 years ago. She was also 22 inches long. You're 11 weeks post-partum and only have 12 pounds left to lose?! You go girl!! You're doing very, very well. Have fun with your new workouts. Before you know it, you'll be ordering the more advanced ones, and spending way too much time posting on this website :)

Spend as much time as you can cuddling with that delicious baby. They grow up waaaay too fast.
