New to Cathe

Okay so I got alittle ahead of myself and ordered the HC series. Only to find out...I'm not that talented on the footwork. Sooooo, I ordered the basic step & fusion disc for beginners to learn so I can use the other videos when I get a little better. Although I must say I LOVE Cathe, I have had little success with videos because I become bored quite easy, but she has a spark about her that just when you think the burn is over she brings it back. However the good thing is while I'm waiting for the new video there are still mounds from the pack to keep me busy. I'm so glad I found this site!:D
 
I was a terrible stepper (still am actually) but the beginning videos helped me immensely. Once you master these you will be on your way to being able to handle the HC series. You have come to the right place to meet like minded fitness geeks. Enjoy! You're about to become a Cathe junkie }( }(
 
Don't give up so soon on the step videos. My first step workout with cathe was IMAX 2! Yeah I know, "What was I thinking". I was soooooo frustrated but I kept at it. Each time I did it, i did more and more correct. Sometimes I would get frustrated b/c i would spend most of the workout messing up all the steps but i just kept thinking at least i'm moving and not sitting around so i should be burning some cals. it took about a month 2 times a week for me to get it down but now, i'm an IMAX pro. once i learned this one, all the others aren't as difficult b/c you learn Cathe's style. The great thing about Cathe's workouts are that they have all the premixes available so you have endless options to choose from. Good luck and stick with it!
 
You won't get bored if you get a large enough library. I just took all of my DVDs out of their cases and put them into one of those CD books that hold hundreds of cds. Well, the first 6 pages of the thing is taken up with exercise DVDs (mostly Cathe). I don't get bored, just poor. Still cheaper than a gym membership.

I don't really have any advice for you regarding Cathe's step routines, but welcome to the forums!! I love the weight workouts in the HC series so you should have plenty to keep you busy for a long time.
