I am relatively new to Cathe -- but I am carrying the fervor of the newly converted, let me tell you. Just a little history. I am 43, have been exercising regularly since 1987. I started with floor aerobics (Jackie Sorenson, then Jane -- remember them?) and then became a runner. Ran exclusively for many, many years. I even did a half-marathon, the very zenith of my running career.
About a year ago I realized that even with all the darn running I was doing I was gaining a couple of pounds a year and my torso and upper body were getting flabby. So I cast about and ordered the Tamiliee Webb "I Want Those...." series. I really loved lifting those weights!!! And I loved what it did for me, physically and mentally.
Although I was intimidated, I ordered my first Cathe (PS -- Chest, Triceps, Shoulders) in November 2002 and have been hooked since. I have just finished a six week rotation of the entire PS series and my questions is (I bet you thought I'd NEVER get to it)...what next????
My goal .... increase endurance and strength. I'd like to see more definition.
I am not a "stepper". Just interested (for the time being) in strength. I'll keep running a couple of times a week for cardio.
Am really interested in your input. You are (as Cathe would put it) a well-educated crowd!
