New style of GAP jeans

HI, for those of you that are sick of low rise jeans, the gap just came out with a new style that really look great on. The style is essential. They come to about the belly button. The regular wash I had to take in a size smaller & the light wash my usual size. Just wanted to let you guys know

Maybe I should buy up all the low-rise jeans before they go out of style?!?! Hopefully, all the styles can live harmoniously together. ;)

Nance - I checked out the style mentioned by the OP on the Gap website and they're a mid-rise and still sit below the belly button. They look quite nice, not "mom-ish" at all. Of course, any jeans look nice if you're a model and you have no hips and legs that are 10 feet long:p

They are not momish at all!!! I just wanted something a little higher up on the waist, I am tired of always pulling my pants up & I wanted my shirts to stay tucked in

Thanks Karen! I can't stand my low-rise jeans. They're all I have since it's either low-rise or "mom jeans" with pockets half-way up my back. I will check them out. Hopefully, they come in "short".

I also like lower than the belly button but please, let them stay above my pubic bone? It's been hard for me to find mid-rise this year...these look like a good option!

They do!!!!! the "a" I think is their short. The regular length was perfect for me. I am 5'6 & have really long legs, I am even able to wear heels with the rgular length. I am actually debating whether to get a couple of back up pairs.

They don't have much of a flare at the bottom though. I prefer a bootcut. I might go in the store and try them on.

The last time I went in the Gap, all the jeans looked like they were something you'd toss in the rag bag. Are these new ones better (ie: not so thin that they look like they'd tear after one wash, no 'distressed' look)?

I like jeans that hit just below my belly button. But I've found that I may have a shorter rise (on me) than most people, because some things that look very low rise (ie: 3-4 fingers' width below the belly button) on the models hit just 1 fnger's width below the bb on me--right where I like them to hit.

The denim is heavy, I thought they would be to warm to wear today, I live in NY, but it is not that hot here today. Overall, I was impressed with them

I like low-rise, but not "ultra low rise". I need the low-rise because I'm so short and have a short torso. anything else makes me boobs and legs.

Is this new style like the old "Original" style (boot cut)? They are my absolute favorites, but the last time I looked for a pair, they had changed the name to "Classic" and they fit TOTALLY different. BUMMER!

The Originals were not that long though, because I needed a 2 long just to be able to wear a small heeled shoe.

HI, I do not know if they are the originals redone. I find the new longs to long, the regular now fits my legs. I donot like gap sizing, I wear a 2 or a 4 in their clothing, in REAL life I am a 6. Anyway, I really like the fit of these jeans,

Karen
