Hey ya'll,
Had to reply to this post!
The ICU I work in now has 15 people attending ww meetings because they wanted to know how I lost weight. Well, you should see our freezers at work. They are loaded with boxes of Skinny Cow fudge bars, and ice cream sandwiches. Have you tried the peanut butter ones? They are soooo good!!! The fudge bars are really big and delicious. I'm now on my 3rd week of maintenance and these deserts really help when you are having a craving for something sweet! Nurses always get doughnuts, cookies, candy, etc. etc. as gifts and thank you's and they are so hard to pass up, but if you have a Skinny Cow handy it's "Udderly Possible".

Those peanut butter ones are YUMMY! I was so upset that I couldn't find them at the grocery store last weekend. I bought the chocolate and vanilla kind but they're not anywhere near as good as the peanut butter. Yum!

Hey, nursie, you're an example that it CAN be done with exercise and sensible food substitutions. You DON'T have to give up goodies, just do some home work and be smart about your choices. That's why I keep blabbering about Dr. Shapiro's book...that's what it's all about! Have your ice cream sandwiches and eat them, too! I'm going to have to hunt for those peanut butter ones...Sam's Club is the first place I've seen that sells the Skinny Cow brand.

Paying attention? Of course my eyes nearly bugged out far enough to bounce off the monitor when I saw, "low fat ice cream!"

I'll check these out! BTW, have you seen the new (at least to my area)Healthy Choice flavor? I'll try not to shake as I type this: Peanut Butter Cup flavor. It's vanilla ice cream, with fudge swirls, caramel swirls, and get this, little tiny peanut butter cups! It taste soooooooo good! And all for 120 cal/2g fat in a 1/2C serving! :)
And the very best part for all my fellow "all or nothing-ers," it's the kind of dessert that you can't overdo. Once you have a cup of it, you're pretty satisfied because it's rather heavier with the little peanut butter cups and fudge/caramel thing going on, so you won't have to worry about your 1/2C serving turning into a quart! :)

p.s. clearly it MUST have been a man who decided a 1/2C of ice cream should be a serving! In my "never will be that tiny" dreams! :)
I was sooooo born in the wrong century! Where was I when it was "hip" to be full figured, pooch bellied, and cellulite got you a spot on canvas!?

OMG, I'm going to have to look for that. I absolutely LOVE peanut butter cup ice cream but don't even let myself go into a Ben & Jerry's or Braums (two places where I have seen this delicious flavor) because it's too tempting.

JenniferAnn..
I am a peanut butter freak too. Sadly, I am so spoiled that now the Skinny Cows alone are not good enough. I gotta smear real peanut butter all over them as I eat them. UGGGHH!! Really bad habit, but the more peanut butter and chocolate the better!!

For some reason I buy ice cream and things like that in splurges. I will eat A TON of it and then not go back for awhile. It is really stupid but I think if I purchased the 30 pack I would feel like a failure. Oh well..

Re: serving sizes. Same goes for the serving size of donut holes. On the box it says a serving is 4, but EVERYONE knows that a proper serving size is 20! ;-)

Honeybunch, I have been eating Skinny Cow sandwiches for months now. They are only 2 point each for us WW people. I'm even on their website forum - I complained that they didn't put a date on the ice cream sandwiches and sometimes the old ones are freezer burnt and soft. If you get them fresh, the cookie part is crunchy and the ice cream is so smooth and creamy!!! You honestly can't tell its low fat. Yesterday, I just bought the strawberry ones--haven't tried them yet, but its on my menu for tonight!!
