New here.. can I join the challenge?

Hi Everyone!

Just found this site, and am really psyched about trying to get myself a bit healthier. I love to workout.. running, step, wts etc.. but I am terrible in the food dept! I know if I could somehow find the willpower to eat right I would be seeing much better results. I'm a normal wt, and I suppose look fairly toned, but I am addicted to sugar!! I swear there are days when I wake up with a food hangover! I do really well all day, but around 6-7pm, all bets are off. I eat everything in sight, and NOT healthy stuff either. My biggest problem is that with kids and a husband who complain when there's not junk food around, I wind up buying stuff "for them", but then I'm the one binging on it. Pathetic I know, but I really am wanting to try to join you guys in the challenge to see if I can do it! I think I would be proud of myself, and I know for a fact my body would thank me!! So, tomorrow, I start... wish me luck!

I have the same problem you have. I haven't joined the challenge yet. I guess I should consider it.

I was successful at staying away from sweets for a long time when I just did not eat any at all. But oh boy, when I give myself permission to eat dessert, I am out of control. The next day I really do have a sugar hangover, so I know what you mean.

Good luck to you. I have the same problem, three teenagers who love sweets like me. I made it one day, trying for two. I did this a couple years ago and really noticed a big difference in my complexion. Now that I am older I hope I can get the same results.
