New Beg/Int DVD's

Hi Everyone! Now that editing is finished I can share a little more details with you about these two BEG/INT workout DVD's.

DVD #1

This DVD is going to have a 35 minute basic step routine. It consists of two combos. I taught the first one a little longer to build confidence but then the second one is taught with a little less breakdown plus it's a little more complex so it will leave the beginner exerciser challenged for future workouts to come. In my opinion, this is the key ingredient to a successful DVD (or even VHS workout) verses a live performance. I feel a video workout has to be made a little trickier or the home exerciser will be bored if they master it the first try and have no room to grow with it. Tip for advanced exercisers who want to increase the intensity: Do this workout on an 8 inch step height.

DVD #1 will also have a 50 minute intermediate step and weight work called Body Fusion. It consists of 3 step aerobic cycles and three weight cycles. You will alternate doing an aerobic cycle and then a weight cycle. Again, the first step combo will be broken down a little longer than the others to build confidence. Tip for advanced exercisers who want to increase the intensity of this workout: Do the workout on an 8 inch step height. Use weights heavier than 3 pounds during the weight training segments. Side note: We were sweating up a storm doing this workout on a 6 inch step height :)

DVD #1 also contains three add on workouts. Upper body toning, Lower body toning, and ab work on the ball.

The UPPER AND LOWER BODY WORKOUTS are about 20 minutes each and both use tubing and 3 pound hand weights. You will be quite challenged as long as you use tubing that has medium resistance on it and hand weights that challenge you per given exercise.

The STABILITY BALL AB WORKOUT is quite challenging too. There are no pikes or anything very advanced for obvious reasons, but if you give your all to each rep for each exercise, you will get quite a workout.

DVD #2

This DVD contains a BEG/INT high step circuit plus a stability ball ab workout that is similar in intensity to that of the other DVD ab workout but contains some different exercises.

The HIGH STEP BEG/INT Circuit is about 55 minutes long and uses the High Step, tubing, and hand weights. You will do 6 fitness cycles in the following manner: A sample of one cycle is in parenthesis.
1) Step aerobics (1 basic,1 step knee,2 run run,1 repeater,1 power 3)
2) Leg work (ex: side and back lunges off of high step)
3) Lower/upper compound exercise (weighted bicep curls w/back lunges)
4) Upper body only (bicep curls with tubing)
5) Core (seated core work)

Each step aerobic cycle consists of a 32 count step combo that repeats itself 4 times to equal a minute. Then the following strength segments all vary in length, style, equipment, and intensity.

Hope this helps!

Oh my goodness Cathe! I am getting a mini aerobic workout from reading your post! I'm so excited!

Thanks for everything!
