Inspired by the thread on Netflix, I'd like to get some recommendations for good instant-view movies. I like thrillers, sci-fi, dramas, some comedies.
I'll start by sharing some of my recent favorites:
"Cagney and Lacey" (hard to believe this is 25+ years old: it's an excellent series. It's also old enough that I pretty much forgot most of it!)
"The Lodger" (thriller)
"Survivors" (a British series about a post-pandemic world where more than 98% of the population was killed. The first few episodes are especially good.)
"30 Rock" ( I never catch this on TV)
"The Devil's Backbone" (interesting Spanish-language thriller that isn't gory)
