Okay ladies, I'm struggling trying to make this decision. I have been considering hiring a personal trainer for over a year now and haven't for financial reasons. But, there is a woman in my area who has done numerous fitness and figure competitions and who been in several magazines such as Oxygen, Muscle and Fitness Hers, Flex and many others. She seems qualified even though she's only been doing this for I think four years.
What I'm considering signing up for is in personal consultations. She gives a diet and workout plan, does body composition testing, measurements, photos, and then support along the way. The program is eight weeks and I will meet with her once every TWO weeks for 30 minutes for updates, progress tracking and tweaking. The cost....drumroll please...is $375.
I can hardly email her back and fork over this money. So, what do you think? Will it be a good motivator to loose a few inches? Or, am I better off saving my money and plugging along on my own?
The reason I've sought this out is that I have split out a pair of pants and ripped a whole in my belt loop in the past two weeks or so while trying to squeeze into them.
Have any of you used them? Had good results? Opinions please!
