Goal: Loose 5 more punds min, loose inches on legs, butt, lower back and thighs.

I have firms and some cathes. I have cathe ctx but selling it ...to complicated for me. But i love her kickbox tapes....

so my questions

Should i try something from the body blast series and her new beg tape. I currently only have the firm step and a reebock step. Should i get a high step too??

Should i get new firms....

What other videos do you suggest. I have been out of the loop for about a year...had baby and now time to get back in shape.

Thanks so much for your replies.

Tammy:

It sounds like you would really benefit from getting Cathe's two new DVD's the fitst one with a simplified step routine and weights routine, and the second one the beginners/intermediate high step routine.

This would help you become accustomed toCathe's choreography, and would be the perect way to gradually build fitness after a baby and a long break.

Don't sell the CTX. It really is an absolute treasure. Just shelve it for a while while you work on building a solid foundation of cardiovascular endurance and strength. Once you have that foundation, say in a couple of month's time, and you are more comfortable with Cathe's moves, you will be crying out for soemthing new, something different and something more challenging: that's when the CTX steps in.

Shelve, don't sell! And allow yourself to slowly but surely build that fitness foundation.

You can do it! Good luck.

It sounds like the kick, punch and crunch/legs and glutes dvd (or tapes if you use those) would suit your needs. The KPC has kick boxing and intense ab work. L&G is great for firming up and losing inches in the lower body.

Clare's advice is right on. Keep the CTX series for when you're more used to Cathe's workouts. And Dawn's suggestions (KPC and L&G from the BB series) are also excellent for what you need.

You say you have a Firm step. Are you talking about the Fanny Lifter? If so, I have one of those, which is why I never found a reason to get the high step. The FL has been working for me just fine.

Yes, you might find Cathe's new workouts for beginners and intermediates helpful. For your lower body, you might also like Leaner Legs (you should have that in your CTX series) and Pyramid Lower Body. They're all easy to follow, and you can start off with much lower weights, or even without weights, for a while. You can also just pyramid up or down, whichever you prefer, instead of doing the entire pyramid.
