Sorry I haven't posted lately but I have to ask for the power of prayer again. It helped my mom a few months back when they saw something on her lungs(turned out to be nothing). Now my dad is in the hospital in Florida(and I'm helpless here in NY). Seemingly healthy guy, never in the hospital, always got his checkups. Well he is real sick with pneumonia now. Don't know how he got it or why so bad but they just had a CAT scan done and they found a mass on his lung. We are praying so hard that it is nothing and he pulls out of this. I can't imagine being stuck here if my dad is real sick. It was always understood that I would take care of my parents if they got sick because I'm the nurse and I'm very close to my dad. I just hope that this is something from the pneumonia. He's only 76 and I hope he still has a lot of years left. It's so hard accepting that your parents are getting old. Thanks for listening, I'm sorry this is so long. Hopefully my trip down there next week is only for follow-up appointments and nothing else(insert fingers crossed here;-) )Thanks again.

Many prayers going out to you. My father had something similar happen a couple of years ago. He was 60 yr. old and very healthy, unfortunately his mass was lung cancer. He almost made it a year. (He never smoked either.) Sorry to be a downer. I pray everything is well with your father.
