JJ, I understand what you are saying and I agree. A "happy anniversary" card would obviously be inappropriate. But I think a bunch of pretty flowers to try to brighten her day, and a "thinking of you and Dad" card delivers the right sentiment.

Amy, isn't Proflowers awesome??? I can't believe how good they are. My DH sent me flowers for Valentine's Day that lasted almost a month!
