Hi all. After years and years of usage, DH and I are FINALLY getting rid of our old Sony rack music system, complete with 5 speakers that take up SO much room.
Now I'm looking for a small, table top unit that gives great sound in a decent size room. I fell in love with the Bose wave system that has the extra 3-disc CD player. Even though we have a ton of CDs, I'm not sure we need that extra player and might opt for an ipod adaptor unit -- are CDs coming to an end in light of all the downlaods? I'm not terribly tech savvy. We do listen to a lot of NPR radio and AM sports radio, so a tuner would be nice.
One thing -- even though I don't think they'll ever be put up, DH bought outside speakers a few years ago and wants the option of external speaker hook up -- the little Bose unit does not have that.
So -- do you all have any systems that you would recommend? TIA.
