I have a little arthritis in my neck-not bad. But I seem to keep getting recurrent neck spasms if I do any weight lifting, ab crunches (with neck supported even) or high intensity cardio. Its really interfering with just trying to keep a basic level of fitness going. I'm doing weekly massage therapy which helps get me over the spasm, but it will just recur again. I just wondered if anyone has had this problem and what did you do about it? I hate taking advil type meds and they don't work well anyway for this. Nor does a muscle relaxer.
