Need help viewing video clips

Cathlete
Can someone help me with a computer problem? I'm trying to view some Cathe videos with Media Player and I get a message saying that "No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it." WHAT THE HECK DOES THIS MEAN???? x(
I don't know much about computers so I have no clue what to do. Any help would be appreciated. I've got so many videos to view! :p

To find out what version of Media Player you have, open up the Windows Media player, click on help, then About Windows Media Player, the next screen should say what version you have....:)...Carole

Ooh, thanks Carole. :) I have version 10. Do you know which version I should have in order to view the video clips? If I need to update, can you tell me how? I'm sorry but I'm still in kindergarten when it comes to computers. Uh, better make that nursery school. :-(

Thanks Carole. Now I just don't know why it's not playing the clips. Maybe someone will have an explanation for me. Thanks again.

I don't know why either Bam...but I know it is frustrating. I sometimes use this site for questions when I have a problem and they answer fairly fast. I believe you have to register but it is free: http://forums.techguy.org/ ...Carole

Thanks so much Carole. I really want to preview many of her dvd's. Collage only carries some of them and I understand Cathe's site gives you more to see. I'll definitely check out that site. Hopefully I'll be viewing soon!:7
