Hi Cathe
I hope everything is going wonderfully with your little guys at home (hubby included) and the new Intensity Series project!!
I'm hoping you can ease my mind regarding a few things on the Chest & Back workout in the S&H series.
First .. the heaviest dumbbells I have are 12lbs .. which just don't challenge me on the bench presses. I did the workout today for the first time, and subbed in my barbell loaded at 35 lbs. Does using a barbell decrease the effectiveness of the workout? I also had to use my barbell for the deadlifts for the back.
Secondly, I always make sure to concentrate on form. However even though I make sure to never drop below a 90 degree angle on the chest presses, for some reason I tend to feel the move more in my shoulders than my chest. Is there something I can do differently while lifting to keep the focus on my chest muscles?
Any insight you could provide would be greatly appreciated!!
