I don't particulary use recipes, but when I make pasta salad, I like to use a whole grain pasta (I prefer spirals: rotini), and lots of veggies (chopped red and green pepper, peas, chopped spinach, shredded carrots, sliced black olives, maybe some artichoke hearts, whatever you like), with some Zesty Italian dressing (very favorful, so you don't have to use a lot). It usually has at least as many veggies in as pasta.
